„The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us!“

„The Shed was roomy and comfortable with great entertainment (pool table, games, tv, books, feeding the animals), good breakfast provided, a lovely park next door and so close to town (lots of dining options) and also handy to Hobbiton, golf, hot pools. Maria was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so helpful with our dogs - we really enjoyed our stay.“

„Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit ganz tollen und netten Gastgebern. Man fühlt sich wie in einem englischen Landhaus und kommt in der Stadt der Hobbits absolut zur Ruhe. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Wir hatten das Gästehaus gebucht, welches wundervoll und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet war. Ein Highlight ist die Badewanne im Aussenbereich aus der man Nachts die Sterne beobachten kann. The lovely pristine little suite features a very comfortable bed, a small sitting area with very rural views (cows and sheep very close by). The only downside to this rental is its distance from amenities tho there is nice hiking in nearby Otanewainuku Park.“

„Lovely central location, closer than we expected to the town which was fantastic! Well thought out items available on site. Accommodating hosts and although we had a flight to catch the later check out than other places is a fantastic touch! Thoroughly enjoyed the space as a base while we explored the Mount.“

„Great communication, and everything as described. Only downside was not that clean. Rooms and pool need a deep clean. Shane was a great host, and the property is amazing. The rooms were cool in very hot weather, with comfortable beds. “

„I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!“
