Tolles Hotel direkt am Meer
Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig am Meer und an der Hauptstraße , die direkt zu den Geschäften führt. Da kaum kostenlose Parkplätze zu finden sind, bekommt man vom Hotelbesitzer einen Parkschein mit dem man dann kostenlos vor und hinter dem Hotel parken kann. Der Service im Hotel ist sehr gut, der Besitzer super nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist klasse ( nach Wunsch!!), die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Kleines aber typisches Hotel am Strand
Der sehr nette Besitzer serviert das typisch englische Frühstück selbst. Das kleine Hotel wird als Familienbetrieb geführt und ist vom Strand nur durch eine Straße getrennt. Entsprechend der Bauweise hat es keinen Lift und nur Einscheibenfenster (trift man aber so auch in London an). In unserem Dreibettzimmer war Föhn und Wasserkocher, Badewanne mit Duschvorhang und WC. Es wird immer eine Auswahl Tee, Schokolade und Instandkaffee sowie eine Auswahl von Keksen bereitgestellt. Die Tassen werden täglich gewechselt und die Tee/Kaffee-Beutel sowie die Kekse neu aufgefüllt. Trotz Strandnähe liegt das Hotel nahe am Bahnhof und den Haltestellen der Busse, jeweils ca. 300 bis 400 m entfernt.

Sehr gute Lage an der Strandpromenade
Zimmer mit Meerblick unbedingt empfehlenswert. Parken mit viel Glück auf Parallelstrasse , sonst mit Hotelticket auf einem Parkplatz. Gepäckausgaben schwierig, da Hotel an einer Durchgangsstraße liegt mit Busverkehr und selten einer freien Parkbox. Zimmer winzig, obwohl an alles gedacht wurde-2Näxhte und Klaustrophobie setzt ein. Steile Treppen, Frühstück in Ordnung, Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Had a lwonderful 3 nights at the cumberland mark was a very good host,we stayed in room 9 which had sea view, room was cleaned every day had all tea coffee replenished daily, very nice breakfast each morning cereals , fresh fruit , and full english tea coffee fruit juices overall was a wonderful 3 nights in a lovely b&b would score it 5/5

A little gem in Weymouth!!
Great location on the Esplanade & within easy access to the train station. Our room & the public areas were all very clean. Lots of storage space in our room with plenty of towels/face cloths provided. Lovely shower gel & hand/body lotion provided too. The breakfast selection was very impressive with a good range of hot & cold items and we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. Would have absolutely no problem in returning to the Cumberland!!

Perfect B & B stay,
Lovely traditional B & B in the heart of Weymouth. Really busy on arrival so no onsite parking was a bit of a pain. That said our room 12 on the 3rd floor was cute, clean and had everything we needed with a sea view from a small top floor window. Unfit people (like us) or with poor mobility would find the 3 flights of stairs a challenge. Floor 2 had the optimum sea views where you’d be able to sit on the small balcony watching the world go by. Breakfast was brilliant, wide choice nicely presented, perfectly poached egg and as much as you wanted. Really nice, warm couple who deserve to do well. Highly recommend. P. S. Stumbled on the Sea Beats Seafood Bistro. Turn right out of the B & B, blue shack on the same side of the road. Unpretentious little place who served the best seafood I’ve ever had, fabulous food!

Fantastic short break
We had an amazing 3 night stay at The Cumberland. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with plenty of storage, and a lovely sea view. The hotel felt modern, and tastefully decorated. Tea, coffee, and biscuits etc provided daily. Worth a special mention was the breakfast, which was beautifully prepared and delicious. Mark and Claire were very friendly and the perfect hosts. This was our second stay here and the only thing that will prevent us staying here again will be if it’s fully booked.
