„Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase. ...

My wife, baby and I stayed in the attached studio, while my parents, mother in law, sister and nephews where in the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom main house. „Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. “

„I big house with plenty of space. Everything there which is needed. Within a shourt time we feel like at home. Beautiful view from front (sea) and bach ( green gras and sheeps). „We were in town to see beautiful Westport and visit family in Mayo and Oakleaf was the perfect spot. Spotlessly clean, comfortable en suite bedrooms, kitchen is well appointed, and host Áine is communicative and available for any questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!“

„Excellent home for 3 generation family ages 8 to 80. Plenty of room for the kids inside and out and separate from the adults. Beautiful Clew Bay views from the house, quiet peaceful walks by the sea in the mornings and evenings, and good surfing beaches nearby. Conor & Carol were immediately responsive to all questions and requests. Highly recommend this home for anyone. “

We had a good chat with the German neighbour who gave us some tips on seeing the seals nearby. We loved all of the beaches in the area and had a couple of good meals in Westport. “

„Vielen lieben Dank für zwei wunderschöne, erholsame Wochen für die ganze Familie. In der Brownston Lodge ist wirklich alles da was man braucht. Mit Kuchen und Blumen begrüßt zu werden war noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, umringt von Schafen und Kühen mit Blick auf den Lough Carra. Wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt und nachts den schönsten Sternenhimmel sehen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Vom Angebot des Angelboots haben wir keinen Gebrauch gemacht, da wir keine ...
