„We stayed at the Munroe Inn for 2 nights to watch the solar eclipse and it was phenomenal. Olga could not have been more helpful or responsive and Inn is so charming, clean, and comfortable. Safety is a concern of ours as well and the Inn is in a residential neighborhood and is well lit for evening arrivals. Highly recommend!“

„Owner does not live onsite. Not 5 star clean but livable. Need to vacuum UNDER the bed and top of the four-poster bed had thick cobwebs wrapped around it. No flexibility for breakfast times or an offer of anything to grab and go. Room could have used a box of tissues and a full-length mirror. Two rooms have a fairly steep set of stairs to access them. “

„Rose was great and accommodating to us. Communication was great so if we needed to adjust the room temperature she was on it right away. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable! Unfortunately we were up and out too early to have breakfast, but I have read great things about it! Overall, it was a peaceful stay and we had a great time in Maine. “

„This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.“

„Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake.“
