„Very nice cabin. Secluded which we wanted but not too far from Canon City or Slivercliff. Everything worked; all kitchen appliances, laundry. Even isolated from town, water was good to drink. Best supply of towels and washcloths anywhere we’ve stayed. About anything we might have forgotten was available; condiments, toiletries, coffee, etc. Wifi and tv was perfect. Everything as described. Saw deer about every day close to cabin. We had a great time. “

„Perfect location for Canon City. Nice selection of vintage vinyl records, even a guitar! Well equipped kitchen, the money saved on Dining and only needing one booking for the family covered the additional cost for this wonderful apartment. Perfect for families and friends that want to stay together. Good access for our aged family members also. Emily (Hostess) is delightful. “

„We loved the 2 room cabin.The location allowed access to Salida and Cotopaxi along with longer trips to Leadville and Canon city/Royal Gorge.We used the full kitchen daily and enjoyed the intermittent stream in the mornings. We saw a doe and 2 fawns in the yard. Clean and felt like new construction.Warm evenings which require fans to cool off. Crisp mornings we fantastic. Started off with coffee and away for local adventures. We enjoyed the fire ring for marshmallows and brats and hot dogs ...

„We ate pastry from Sally’s Bakery, white water rafted with Lost Paddle Rafting, road the Royal Gorge Train, visited the Museum of Colorado Prisons, walked the Tunnel Drive Trail, worshipped with Grace Family Church, ate at Pizza Madness, visited the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. Most all of these activities were within walking distance of our lodging.“

„Everything was fantastic, from the original booking all the way to check out. We had to make a change in who was attending, Robert’s response was timely and friendly. The house was comfortable and beautiful, well appointed, WiFi access was good. Plenty of dishes, utensils, etc; may not seem like a big deal, but it is. The area is gorgeous and private.“

„My mom and I had a lovely stay here in early July (in addition to the cozy bedroom, the big couch is good for sleeping on). Super pleasant walk into town. Great kitchen, stocked with coffee and tea - no microwave, unless we missed it somewhere, but stove/oven/air fryer available. You can definitely hear some regular life sounds (kids, pets) from the main house, so if you're looking for absolute silence you may want to look elsewhere, but that was perfect for us. "Die Lage der Lodge ist fantastisch. Wir hatten einen Camper, der Platz für 3 Personen war ausreichend. Ein riesiger Kühlschrank war vorhanden, ebenso ein großer Herd plus Backofen. Kochen kann man aber nicht, es gab lediglich eine ganz kleine und eine etwas größere Pfanne. Besteck gab es ebenfalls nicht ausreichend für 3 Personen... das Oasis Restaurant bietet allerdings gutes Essen an. Leider waren die anderen Gäste sehr laut, die Ruhezeiten wurden nicht eingehalten. Um 8 Uhr war das Frühstücksbuffett leer geräubert, nachgefüllt wurde auch nicht. Ich würde hier nur wegen der tollen Lage noch einmal übernachten."
