"A small, cozy hotel with a lake, although you couldn't swim in it. Despite the highway, the hotel was quiet. With the window closed you couldn't hear anything, with the window open only noise (lake side). The building and the furnishings were a bit older, which was also partly visible. But it didn't look run-down. A renovation would do the hotel some good. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness left something to be desired in some places. I never felt unsafe there, there was plenty of parking and the food was also good."

"It’s a very traditional hotel in a lovely, scenic landscape. It also provides a lot of entertainment for youths. It is within walking distance to the station, the High Street and it’s by the sea with a wonderful park in front of it."

"Spring river ist eine gute Basis für alle, die nah an der Fähre zu Dover sein wollen und auch nach London möchten. Ebbsfleet Station ist zu Fuß in 20 Minuten erreichbar und die South Eastern fährt innerhalb von 25 Minuten nach St. Pancras und trotz Zugticket ist man günstiger untergebracht als direkt in London. Frühstück erfolgt im daneben gelegenen Restaurant und ist gut - versch. Kaffeevarianten und alles andere als Buffet. Ansonsten gibt's unmittelbar in der Nähe einen kleinen Supermarkt. Zimmer hat ordentliche Größe und Wasserkocher. Natürlich hört man ein wenig den Verkehr der A2. Denke, dass ich diese Variante wieder wählen wuerde, wenn ich nach London will. "

"The picture on the advert is nothing like the room we had, bed frame was too small for the matress so it hung over the sides, the toilet was noisy and the door was made of old cupboard door panels, unlockable, the walls were paper thin and we could hear the neighbours conversation and snoring, cold water tap was hard to turn off, parking was a joke and no one at reception, we were booked for a week but only managed 3 days then we just left, not a hotel just a hovel, avoid like the plague, if it were possible i would give it minus 10 out of 10."
