„Wir wurden von Fam. Fox sehr herzlich empfangen mit einer Willkommenskarte auf dem Tisch und Nascherei und Wein im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, komplett ausgestattet, ruhige Lage aber stadtnah mit sehr schönem Blick in den Garten und auf das Hinterland (Eype), wirklich ideal für 2 Personen. Gut gefallen hat uns auch das umfangreiche Informationsmaterial inklusive Großmaßstäbiger Wanderkarten für Bridport und Dorset. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Bridport bei Fam. ...

„Great stay in this lovely apartment. With beautiful views over the beach and coastline from both balconies! Just ideal for access to everything. Easy to pop in for a swim. Go for a wander. Pick up an ice cream. Great facilities. No parking but that is the same with most properties we looked at. We were easily able to unload and load our luggage and park in Holmesbush multi stay car park. The walk to which afforded amazing views! Breakfast on the balcony whilst people watching was brilliant! ...

„we enjoyed one week at the seafront in Lyme: location and the atmosphere in the old house are fantastic. perfectly equipped for self-catering. good service by Mark Holmes. unfortunately, the house needs a little "new paint": it could be a little cleaner, - compared to our Swiss standard - (especially front and back-garden and cellars are not maintained), some stains on walls (of normal usage), some tiles are broken (in Shower)... lyme Regis and Jurassic coast are great. Fossil Walk is a Must!“

„This was a perfect place to stay for the two of us. It was even better than the pictures. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. She left us lots of treats and basic supplies which were over and above what you would expect and saved us having to dash to a shop. The pretty outdoor area has an undercover part that was perfect for shade and a private part that has two sun loungers, a table and chairs. It has countryside views and was very peaceful. „We loved our stay in Westgate. Mark was an excellent host and the accommodation was clean and well equipped. All rooms were spacious and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchens were modern and good quality. The entire flat was well lit and the surrounding grounds and countryside provide stunning views. The property is close to the A35 but the sound of traffic is barely audible inside the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future. Thank you.“

"Für 3 Erwachsene ein Zimmer gebucht gemäß Buchungsbestätigung. Beim Check in dann böse Überraschung. Obwohl ich vorher noch unsere Ankunft tel. bestätigen musste, hätten wir nur ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett bekommen. Wir mussten ein Upgrade auf Deluxe room mit Aufpreis bezahlen. Dafür hat die 3. Person ein Schlafsofa bekommen dass mehr ein Folterwerkzeug statt ein Bett war. Auf unsere bitte Frühstück to go für eine frühe Abreise zur Verfügung zu stellen, wurde zuerst gesagt, das sei kein Problem. Am Morgen war es dann nicht möglich und alles war wieder total kompliziert. Für mich leider nicht empfehlenswert, obwohls eigentlich schön dort gewesen wäre"

"Der Wirt war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr eng, aber glücklicherweise waren 2 separate Betten, ein Waschbecken, Föhn und Wasserkocher (incl. Tee, Kaffee, Milch) vorhanden, das moderne Bad war auf dem Flur. Leider klemmte die Zimmertür so stark, dass wir sie über Nacht einen spaltbreit offen gelassen haben, um beim Gang zum Bad nicht zu viel Lärm zu machen. Beim Frühstück im modern eingerichteten, hellen Frühstücksraum saßen alle Gäste gemeinsam an einem großen runden Tisch, in dessen Mitte auf einer großen Drehscheibe eine reiche Auswahl an Cerealien, frischem Obst, Säfte, Brotaufstrich und vieles mehr angeboten wurde; dazu frisch getoastetes Brot und Eier nach Wahl. Sehr originell und kommunikativ!"
