Close to the town's iconic quay, Grey Goose Cottage has a welcoming and relaxing feel as soon as you walk through the entrance door. The well-equipped, dog-friendly accommodation has been thoughtfully planned to ensure you will have everything you need for a wonderful holiday. This traditional two-up, two-down, period fisherman's cottage, has been sympathetically updated and furnished to suit modern living with the only nod to its age being the steep, straight stairway leading to the first floor. On the ground floor is a smart, modern fitted breakfast kitchen with all mod cons, and a sunny dining area set beside the door that opens to the south facing courtyard garden. The delightful sitting room, with a wood burning stove set within an inglenook, adds extra warmth on chillier days, is just the place to relax after a busy day spent out and about in the salty sea air. Upstairs on the first floor are two lovely bedrooms; a king-size and a single room (with a sneaky glimpse of the sea), both sharing the use of a family bathroom, with a bath and an overhead shower option.

Absolutely everything you could want for the perfect holiday is within walking distance - some excellent places to eat, an interesting collection of independent boutiques and galleries, as well as a superb butcher, fishmonger and bakery for when you prefer to dine in. The bustling picturesque quay is only a few minutes' walk and you can reach stunning Wells beach in another fifteen minutes - this dog-friendly sandy beach, with its colourful array of beach huts, is well worth the effort. If you are tempted to wander further afield, the Coasthopper bus stops nearby and will take you to all the neighbouring coastal villages along this beautiful coastline.
