This cottage looks a lot bigger in the photograph.
It's actually tiny, but very very cosy.
I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again if returning to Wells.
The location is fantastic ... 50 yards from the Quay road. 300 yards from the Golden Fleece pub, at the corner of Staithe Street, which we used quite a bit.
There's an excellent butchers and bakers on Staithe Street, run by the same family.
The cottage sits back off the Quay, so it's very quiet at night. You can't hear any traffic at all to disturb your sleep.
The single beds were very comfy.
The shower is powerful, which is always nice when staying away from home.
I only have 1 criticism and that is, that the TV was too small. TV's are dirt cheap these days, so it wouldn't hurt to invest in a larger one.
If you like cider, the Whin Hill cider place along the quay does some of the finest dry sparkling cider I've ever had.
Would return here for sure.
