Super Hotel - irgendwo im Nirgendwo
Wir hatten super Probleme das Hotel zu finden- wir kamen ab späten Abend an und es war schon stock-dunkel. Das Ein-cheken war sehr nüchtern - daher auch die Service Bewertung. Das Gelände ist unglaublich groß und das Hotel bietet jede Menge an Sport etc. an. Zudem kann man dort auch heitraten. Schwimmbad und Fitness waren gut und sauber - extra Handtücher wurden gestellt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war einsame Spitze und für jeden was dabei (inkl frischem Obst - keine Dosen) Die Zimmer waren ok - nix besonderes - alles schon etwas alt aber gepflegt und sauber. Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufentalt im Walton Hall Hotel zufrieden. Man sollte jedoch bedenken, das das Hotel super abgelegt irgendwo auf dem Feld liegt und man ohne Auto aufgeschmissen ist.

The hotel is set in lovely grounds, has a good choice of parking and communication before our stay was excellent. Staff on site were also very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and clean although it was very warm with no obvious ventilation apart from the balcony door. The bar and restaurant were excellent although quite expensive. Fantastic location for a range of attractions nearby, we visited the British Motor Museum for the amazing Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Celebration and Warwick Castle which is fantastic. Hotel was great and we will stay again I'm sure.

Overall good location, good accommodation, good food a bit pricey, ideal for those who want to get away. Cons Out in the sticks a good distance to get to other local shops .No street lights Our building the accommodation we stay in we had to go outside to get to the main area for our breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful settings and views. Nice and helpful staff - service was good. Lots of parking areas and walking grounds. Room clean, warm and cozy. Limited and average Menu Small and limited spar areas. Lots of linen packs left on the floor flowing from what appeared like an opened overflowing linen room and linen trolleys left by the entrance and right in front of our room - not a pretty site every time walking in and out.

A very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The leisure facilities were very good and I appreciated the free use of towels, and being able to continue using the facilities after checkout. However, there was nowhere in my room to dry swimming kit to be able to use it the next day.

We only stayed the one night but it was very good. We certainly would have no hesitation in staying there again. Swimming pool and gym were excellent. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast was good and parking was very easy.

Good location, and the old hall is certainly worth a look around. Food on an evening was ok but bar drinks are a touch expensive. Room warm clean and comfortable with a view towards the woods.

Nice location but the few issues which just didn’t make the stay great, firstly the phone lines NEVER worked, couldn't get in touch with room service or front desk. Power cut so swimming pools couldn’t be used. The tv only half the channels worked. When paying £300 for 2 nights you expect abit more. The staff in the restaurant were great and very helpful. Shame really

Huge sprawling hotel - needs better signage
This is quite a difficult hotel to review. We arrived in torrential rain - the hotel has a very long approach road which was mostly underwater. Not flooded but concealed. The water hid the speed bumps which came as a shock in a heavily loaded van. I think these could be painted white and the road better drained. However, the hotel has signage, which is not lit. We, and other guests, could not find the reception. This is probably ok on a summer evening but in the dark, with torrential rain, it requires improvement. When we made it inside the hotel there was no signage to reception. But, having finally found reception the reception area was recently refurbished, the staff brilliant, and understanding of our inability to navigate. Staff on the bar were great but restaurant lead was rude and unhelpful. He told us as we hadn’t booked or prepaid, we couldn’t have a table. In a half empty restaurant. Fortunately a fellow guest offered us his table. Bar staff were lovely. The site is huge, some new rooms, some older. Ours was a fantastic design but marked by signs of mould. But maybe just in need of a refresh. The receptionist told us a lot of maintenance takes place at this time of year. We were disappointed that the TV didn’t work, due to signal problems. But we had ipad with us so used that. The hotel is made up of many areas, all with their own parking, so I would suggest navigating to Reception before choosing a parking space and unloading your luggage.

Good spa
I booked a King Suite which was very run down and cold. The room needs better heating to provide comfort in winter. I stayed during very windy weather meaning the windows rattled all night. I did however have a spa treatment which was wonderful.

Amazing Christmas Party As Always. See You In 2024
Tiana organised my annual friends and family joiner party. Great job. Rooms were amazing, we upgraded to the old hall, breath taking! Stefan greeted us on the 15th December. He was so attentive to everyone and my guests were made to feel very special all night. Stefan is a new member of staff and an absolute boon to Walton Hall… fantastic manager material!

We were put into an apartment as they didn’t have a room available with walk in shower as requested & previously confirmed. It was cold & smelt damp & didn’t have a walk in shower. We ordered room service & it was cold. We asked for heaters & didn’t get any - having to sit with towels over us to keep warm. Complained & are still waiting to hear from the hotel

Disappointing
We arrived after visiting Warwick Castle for the Christmas illuminations which was amazing. We initially drove past the turn off as the road is dark and the sign isn’t illuminated. We parked and checked in only to be told we needed to get back in the car and drive to the main house. Check in member of staff wasn’t particularly helpful or interested!!!! When we got to the main house there was a function on and we had to walk through the reception drinks to get to our room. We’d booked a superior double and the condition of the room and general neglect of what us a beautiful property was disappointing. Communal areas are messy and seem really uncared for. We woke on Saturday to minus 4 degrees and eagerly set out for breakfast in the orangery assuming it would be in the actual building or signposted. We wandered aimlessly around the house which by now was deserted until we came across another guest in the same situation. A kind cleaner then showed us the way. I’m shocked the details weren’t given to us at check in as it was freezing wandering around. When we found it breakfast is average at best. One coffee Machine working for the whole restaurant. When we returned that evening again in the freezing cold our key cards weren’t working so again to reception. Saturday evening was nice good food lovely waiting staff but a long delay for mains. On the whole this place looks sad and tired in many areas.

Avoid this place until improvements are implemente
On arrival found our room really cold, stating on the thermostat was 16*c! Tried to adjust temperature but only blowing cool air. Asked reception for help and was given a small portable heater. Took all day to raise the temperature to 20*c. I can’t believe that you could arrive at this venue and find your room too cold to stay in. Breakfast seemed more limited than before, a full cooked breakfast was only warm
