The space
Ware Lodge is situated within the private and stunning grounds of Woodhall Park, Hertfordshire. Outside of the cottage, you will find yourself in beautiful 18th century parkland, all of which is privately owned. Pheasants, squirrels and birds gambol through 500-year-old trees. The nearest village is Watton-at-Stone, a mile away, with a good bakery, and a convenience shop. You'll also find The Bull, an excellent pub for local ales and hearty food. The historic market town of Hertford is 6 miles away, full of independent boutique shops to explore, real ale pubs and many dining options. We are a countryside retreat in Hertfordshire, but with easy road and rail access to London and the rest of the UK. The historic cities of Cambridge and St Albans are also less than an hour's drive away. Perfect for a day trip, to explore, eat, drink, and shop to your heart's content.

Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of Ware Lodge, it is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the size of the doorways and layout.

There is ample private car parking at Ware Lodge.
