„We enjoyed our stay at the Homestead. The alpacas were really cute and the mountain view was great! The Breakfast was prepacked in the fridge. 4 slices of bread, 2 fruit yoghurts and different types of spreads. milk and water have also been prepared. This worked out great for us. Getting to the BnB and leaving is difficult since it is located directly at the highway. So getting out on busy hours can be tough. Watch out the alpacas seem to have figured out how to take the stairs ;) “

„Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit ganz tollen und netten Gastgebern. Man fühlt sich wie in einem englischen Landhaus und kommt in der Stadt der Hobbits absolut zur Ruhe. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Wir hatten das Gästehaus gebucht, welches wundervoll und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet war. Ein Highlight ist die Badewanne im Aussenbereich aus der man Nachts die Sterne beobachten kann. Das Abendessen in dem kleinen Restaurant des Hauses ist ganz hervorragend. Das Frühstück wurde uns im Gästehaus ...

„The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us!“

„The Shed was roomy and comfortable with great entertainment (pool table, games, tv, books, feeding the animals), good breakfast provided, a lovely park next door and so close to town (lots of dining options) and also handy to Hobbiton, golf, hot pools. Maria was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so helpful with our dogs - we really enjoyed our stay.“

„We had only one rainy night here, coming from Rotorua and enjoyed sitting on the sheltered veranda smelling gras, not sulfur! :) It is a simple home that is nice for people that like animals. Who can resist, looking into the big, gentle eyes of a lama, when opening the curtains? We cannot. Whatching the lamas, rabbit and turkeys during breakfast was much better than morning TV“

„I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!“
