„My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay (with our two dogs)! Perfect location; close to Bryce Resort for downhill mountain biking (or skiing in the winter) and lots of hiking trails in the area. House was clean and so was the hot tub. Saw lots of wildlife during our stay. No issue with hot water in the shower like a previous review mentioned. Host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond if we had any questions. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area! “

„This is the first mountain vacation I’ve been on since my mother passed away last year. She loved Virginia and this place was absolutely perfect. Beautiful scenery, nice accommodations, great response times from host. If anyone is looking for a place to rest, reset, and enjoy… I highly recommend Lone Bear Cabin. “

„This house was by far the best rental we’ve ever stayed at. It offers privacy with spectacular views and plenty of activities and games. Waking up every morning to that view was wonderful! We will definitely stay again next year! “

„I've stayed at quite a few rentals and hotels, and this is my favorite. It's definitely a bit off the grid, which makes it all the more private and charming. The views are breathtaking, and the layout of the house is perfect for a family...but it'd be lovely for a couple's or solo retreat, too! Our visit included three adults and two kids (10 and 12), but I appreciate that there are baby gates, a pack n play, and a high chair for guests with younger children. My kiddos especially loved the air ...

„Mystic Pines was exactly what my wife and I were looking for, for our first anniversary: somewhere just outside the city with stunning views, peace, and quiet. The cabin itself is extremely well appointed, and while it makes a good base camp for exploring the area, you won’t want to leave.“

„A train came past the house at 7am in the morning. There is no mention of early morning train activity in the description. The mattresses were extremely soft and the blankets were very thin…so we were chilly. The house is beautiful…just these details are something to consider.“
