16C Keine Heizung in den Bädern = eiskalt !
Wir hatten bei unserer Ankunft 16Grad C im Wohnbereich und wohl 14Grad C in den Schlafzimmern und Bädern. Am 2. Tag kamen abends von einer langen Wanderung bei etwas 5Grad C Außentemperatur zurück und freuten uns auf eine warme Unterkunft. Wir hatten schließlich alle verfügbaren Heizungen auf kleiner Stufe geschalten gelassen. Böse Überraschung: Alle, wirklich alle Heizungen waren abgeschaltet. Im Wohnbereich wieder 16Grad C und in den Schlafzimmern und Bädern noch kälter. Hinzu kam, dass nur in einem Schlafzimmer ein kleiner Heizer stand, der allerdings nicht zu gebrauchen war, da er beim Anschalten stank. Das 2. Schlafzimmer wie auch beide Bäder hatten überhaupt keine Heizung. Bei Außentemperaturen von knapp über 0 Grad C alle Heizungen abzuschalten finde ich absolut gastunfreundlich. Da hilft es auch wenig, dass in den Betten Heizdecken waren. Die Bettdecken bestanden auch nur aus einem Laken mit einer dünnen Wolldecke. Unten warm, oben eiskalt. Eine weitere Decke im Schrank war fleckig und dreckig. Duschen war morgens absolut unmöglich.

Ease of booking stay. Unfortunately, it was the easter weekend so didn't get to try the restaurant or interact with any staff however it still felt welcoming. Rooms were clean and fresh. If I'm in the area again will definitely stay again.

Love the Black Gold, and the Cribb restaurant. This is our 3rd year of staying here for the Ridgy-Didge trail running festival and we’ll be back again next year. Great accomodation, food and drink, and staff, at great value. Can’t fault it, we love it!

We needed a place to stay overnight as we drove from Sydney to Dubbo. We were pleasantly surprised with the Black Gold Motel! The rooms were simple but clean. Water pressure, hot water, linens all very good. But really the exceptional breakfast won us over.

I was impressed with the accommodation, the bed was comfortable, love having the little kitchen also having real milk not long life milk was a happy surprise plus having biscuits provided was a nice extra. Having an iron with a full size ironing board was appreciated as we were going to a wedding and I needed to iron my husbands shirt. Great towels nice and big which is always a plus with us.

Bathurst show
Have stayed at this motel 5 times now because the rooms are a good size, plus you have all the cutlery you need if cooking in your room, nice and quiet too.the motel also has different kinds of rooms, from 1 bedrooms to 3 bedrooms for families, plus restaurant and plenty of parking. Not to far from lithgow.

Good accommodation
We had a good two nights stay at the Black Gold motel as part of a central west trip. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the shower hot, however there was no luggage racks in the room so bags had to be placed on the floor. The area round the motel was quiet at night with a generous parking spot right at your door. We had dinner at the very good onsite restaurant both nights.Would recommend this motel if you are in the area of Wallerawang.

The Motel was very clean and tidy with spacious rooms and the adjoining restaurant was high quality with a bar and lounge area. It was perfect for us as we stopped over on our way further west.
