Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in Visakhapatnam ist das Novotel kostspieliger, aber der höhere Preis hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Wir haben das Hotel für 5 Nächste im Februar 2020 besucht, weil wir in Indien auf eine Hochzeit eingeladen waren. Das Hotel war der ideale Rückzugsort für uns von all dem Hochzeitstrubel. Wir haben Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer und auf den Pool bekommen, die wirklich wunderschön waren, wir haben uns während des ganzen Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nicht zu aufdringlich, auch wenn tatsächlich sehr sehr oft gefragt wird ob alles in Ordnung ist. Bei der täglichen Reinigung hätte das Personal im Bad noch etwas gründlicher sein können, wir hatten teilweise noch Wasserränder im Bad oder auf den Tischen und so das Gefühl, dass nicht immer alles ganz so ordentlich gereinigt wurde. Es gibt täglich ein reichhaltiges Buffet zum Frühstück, Mittag und Abendessen. Leider war die Verpflegung in unserer Buchung nicht inklusive und wir haben einmal das Frühstücksbuffet ausprobiert, was sehr gut und vielseitig war aber für 20 Euro auf die Tage gerechnet schon recht teuer. Es gibt aber im Hotel auch eine kleine Bäckerei/Cafe die super Sandwichs, Croissants und Kuchen anbieten, wir haben oft dort gefrühstückt oder Kuchen gegessen. Es gibt zudem eine Bar/Lounge die auch nach draußen hin geöffnet war, dort haben wir sehr gerne Zeit verbracht, der Service, die Getränke und das Essen dort waren top.

There was thumping noise in the room till midnight on all 3 nights I stayed here. The hotel staff first said it’s from the banquet hall, then they changed their stance and said it’s from a INOX theatre right behind the hotel. It was apparent they cannot do anything about it. So if you want to have a quite room and wish to sleep before the INOX has had its run till midnight, look for some place else. If putting up with a rumbling sound reverberating through the building is something that you like, this place has plenty of it.

Novotel Vizag is a great modern hotel. Rooms were clean and staff was fantastic. Special. Shout out to the front desk manager who was very accommodating to all our needs. Even though a very busy hotel, when staff remembers your name, you always feel special. Second shout out to the dining room manager who had an amazing and contagious smile at all times. Ask her to tell you about her hometown Darjaleen, famous for its tea and she beams with pride. Will definetly stay again.

Very disappointing. Some of the amenities were closed . Like the terrace restaurant for renovation. the pool is not only for hotel guests but open for public who visit the restaurant.

I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and of the room. I found that room was not cleaned before checkin and found multiple stain marks Kn floor shoes prints also found trash under bed. The checkin was terrible, hotel staff has no information and very less trained to handle customer requirements.

I love the location and ambience. Liked room and it’s amenities. Food was good. Only 2 issues, (1) Electrical switches is little confusing. Ex: Bathroom light switches are located somewhere else. Recommend to mark (sign) to locate the exact one (2) Servers on the terrace restaurant are very slow. Taking too much time to deliver food. Also faced an issue while checking out (Kailas). He is not much knowledgeable. Took almost 30 minutes to figure out an issue with payment. Recommend to place someone who is more knowledgeable and more active one. But overall Novotel is best

Worst experience in a 5 star hotel in my life.
On the first day, there was a dead fish swimming with me in the pool. No staff is around the pool to notice the dead fish and it took them time to react to mark the pool closed for maintenance. The handicap/ family toilet health faucet was cut and broken. I took my son and was unable to clean him. I then took him to the make toilet and the flush knob was broken. This was fixed temporarily by the cleaner and the next day i found it broken again. The in room dining were just not ready to serve my water in glass bottles as were available in the dining area. Took me a lot of arguments to get it done. The front desk have complementary golf at the EastPoint golf club. It took them 12 hours and repeated reminders to give me a letter to take with me to the golf club, which i was told was completely free. OH NO!!! It is not free and they dont know of any agreement. Upon calling the front desk they now tell me only Entry is free, WHILE THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE. The managers are just clueless. its a worst place to stay... though the building and view is good, the staff are clueless. There is no shower facility near the swimming pool... they have to walk on floor (slipping and falling health risk) to a rest room which was stinking the first day... then walk back on the wet floor. I have given them feedback to place a mat and hope they'll act on it before disaster srtikes someone.

It is very near to the beach and in prime location. But I didn't like the in room dining service. After the order is placed, the food came after 1.5hrs and it is too expensive. The phone in the room didn't work properly when I wanted to call the other rooms. And finally, the most important thing, WiFi did not work at all in my phone when I went to other floors or rooms where my other family members stayed.

Room service terrible. Just to get a coffee it takes 1/2 hour and on top of that instead of charging to my room, insisting on paying with cash then and there itself. Felt very cheap. For a star hotel, having a credit card on their file, this is ridiculous. Don’t promote this property.

The service was horrible. The front desk and reservation team were rude couldn’t of much help. Language barrier was a factor. They need to provide avenues for covid tests for international travelers.
