„My husband and our dogs spent the week here and it was everything we needed. Just be warned that the house is located at the bottom of a steep hill. The only grass available is at the top of the hill. I would recommend putting your boat in prior to arriving to the home, as backing it down was difficult. „My sisters and enjoyed a long weekend getaway and also hosted my son and daughter in law who traveled from NC. We had a beautiful stay, the views from the balcony were wonderful, saw the deer every morning. Very peaceful and quiet area, about a 15 minute drive to local restaurants. „Our stay at the Mariners Cottage Lake Retreat was wonderful! The house was cozy. The beach lake access is a short walk from the home and not over crowded, it was a very enjoyable environment. Also, the house is very close to the golf cubhouse and the restaurant. The snacks the host left for us was a sweet added bonus.
