Direkt am Hauptplatz befindet sich dieses touristisch lizenzierte Juwel eines Stadthauses mit privatem Swimmingpool. Treten Sie durch die massiven Holztüren und Sie werden ein kühles, komfortables und geräumiges Interieur vorfinden. Kürzlich im traditionellen andalusischen Stil auf drei Etagen renoviert und dennoch mit jeglichem modernen Komfort ausgestattet. Der sonnige, möblierte Poolbereich ist eine echte Sonnenfalle und am Ende des umzäunten hinteren Gartens gibt es einen schönen, schattigen Bereich zum Entspannen, der sich ideal für eine wohlverdiente Siesta im heißesten Teil des Tages eignet. Das Anwesen befindet sich im Zentrum dieses attraktiven weißen Pueblos in der Region Antequera. Gehen Sie nach draußen und Geschäfte, Märkte, Banken und Bars sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Very nice house with a lot of space
The house was very nice, with big rooms, very well equipped. Everything you need is there and even more. The kids enjoyed the pool even if the water was cold. The kitchen is as good as at home. The check-in and contact was also perfect. Thanks again!!! The only remark is the noise. The house is located at the meeting point of the village so people gather all day until late in the night since the bar is just across the street. Ous stay in Villanueva de Tapia
It was our sexond stay in that beautiful house and we enyoyed it very much. The environment of Tapia is quite nice and Malaga, Sevilla and Córdoba are nearby. Tapia is a dozy village but the night there are lot of open bars aside. We can only recommend the townhouse. The communication with Nigeland Pepi in place is perfect.

Very nice, quiet townhouse
We enjoyed our stay very much. The townhouse is lovely, well equipped, tastefully and had a lot of space for two couples. The view from the balcony is great and the pool area as well as the patio with the open grill is just perfect. Booking, arriving and leaving was very easy and the local house keeper was easy to reach, flexibel and took good care. There are some small supermarkets and local, rustic bars in the town, but you need a car to go for larger shoppings and for a decent restaurant (closest is about 7 km away). It's a 15 min drive to the next highway and about 45 - 60 min to Malaga. You easily can do day trips to the major sight seeing destinations like Cordoba, Granada and Sevilla. There are also nice opportunities for hiking tours in the area itself (about 15 -20 min drive is a national park with a lake). It's the perfect place for a tranquille, relaxing holiday in the country side, but forget about it, if you are looking for hosh posh beach / party life.

Lovely house but noisy
Gorgeous property, very spacious and relaxing. Great pool. Lovely welcome treats. Village has all you need. We just wish we had known that there was a cultural week going on which meant night club music all night until 6am for three nights running. Avoid those dates (early August) unless you want to party all night.

Une superbe maison pour se reposer
La maison de Nigel est vraiment parfaite et décorée avec goût. Les espaces intérieurs sont très grands et frais malgré les fortes chaleurs, l’extérieur est idéal : la piscine est grande et le petit coin barbecue/lounge très agréable. Les environs sont très sympa, notamment Antequera. Je recommande vivement pour des vacances en famille à la découverte de l’Andalousie !

Authentic Spain
Lovely property with pool, situated in a small Spanish community. There’s a tapas bar right outside and a few local shops to get what you need. We had lots of space in the house and a lovely view of the mountains from the balcony. There’s a large lounge bbq space at the back which we used a lot. Plenty of air conditioning was appreciated as it was extremely hot. We benefited from having a car to make supermarket trips and visit the local municipal pool which was lovely, and some neighbouring town. We were also able to remote work thanks to the wifi. Great for anyone who wants to use their Spanish as the locals mainly do not speak English but were well able to help us along and we got a warm welcome there.

Lovely townhouse with a holiday vibe
We had a fantastic time in this lovely spacious Spanish town house. It had loads of character and was the perfect base for exploring the area. We loved the outside space with the pool. Most evenings where spent in the comfortable chill out/BBQ area at the back of the pool. Although we couldn’t resist popping out for tapas and drinks at one of the many bars right on the doorstep. The town is well equipped with grocery stores, butchers, bakers etc. So there was no need to visit any supermarkets outside the town for supplies. The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Nigel was the perfect host and Pepi was really helpfull. The whole of our stay went without a hitch. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic holiday
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nigel's property. The property is located in the centre of the village, and as mentioned in other reviews, you can often hear the locals socialising into the small hours, which was fine for us, as we were socialising with them! In fairness, we have three children, aged 4, 6 and 8 who all slept without issue. This is an exceptionally friendly village, indeed, the locals welcome you with open arms. As a family who like to holiday off the beaten track, our experience was exactly as we had hoped. The house itself is a fantastic size with a wonderful pool and everything you need for a relaxing stay, including an outside fridge. The barbecue area is great for a siesta or outdoor entertaining. From our perspective, it would seem that the recently published 1* review is wholly unjustified. Nigel's parking instructions were very clear. If the kerb is painted yellow, do not park there! Please note, the yellow lines are not painted on the road itself, but rather on the kerb itself. You can park on the street before reaching the house, or in the square, just beyond the house. It will take you no more than a minute or two to walk to the house from your parking space. We have no hesitation in recommending Nigel's property. Also, his communication was both detailed and clear.

Estupendo estancia
Casa 9 Villanueva de Tapia es perfecto para pasar tiempo en un ambiente muy español. La puerta de entrada abre a la calle y ahi se encuentra la vida local y todas las mañanas y tardes se reunion la gente del pueblo…sobre todo los hombres. No tiene que quejarse que hay ruido y que se puede oir la gente en la calle….asi viven los españoles y es una experencia pasar tiempo entre ellos. La casa es muy comoda y limpia y el jardin y la piscina un lugar muy tranquilo para relajar. Si quieres pasar tiempo en una casa muy español en un ambiente verdadero español Casa 9 es para ti.

les personnes qui ont une voiture à éviter à fuir un très grand problème pas de parking le propriétaire mais parking mais il n'existe pas impossible de se garer devant la maison route barer par contre les locaux ont le droit 😠alor il vous conseille de vous garer dans les rues du village et il vous assurent qu'il n' y aura aucun problème ce que nous avons fait et 2 jour après nous avons trouvé notre véhicule accidenté sur tous le côté droit, personne ne sait rien et le propriétaire se n'ai pas sont problèmes et son interlocutrice Pepi de même, alor ont vous promet des choses à la fin voiture accidenté et amende donc aucun effort du propriétaire et il ai très arrogant. Annonce monsongère l'annonce au niveau des équipements il y n'y a pas de grill pain, pas de cafetière électrique mais une petite cafetière qui date de l'ancienne époque que vous devez laver nettoyer et remplir de café et attendre que le café monte et cela vous permet de prendre 1 seul verre de café donc très agaçant. La maison cache beaucoup de piège table du petit balcon en mauvaise état il suffit de la déplacer et vous la casser c'ai une table en verre elle tiens avec des vises rouiller par manque d'entretien, il y a aussi des store de l'ancienne époque des store en vieux bois à tirer avec une ficelle. Quelque un de ces store ne fonctionne pas correctement et surtout il faut pas tirer sinon le staure ce casse donc dans la chambre du haut nous avons éviter de les ouvrir et ceux de la pièce à vivre un côté était décollé et l'autre fonctionner mais pour bloquer sa reste compliquer et dangereux si vous êtes avec des enfants mon fils de 2 ans a failli se le prendre dans la tête alor que nous avons attacher la ficelle à la porte fenêtre. Concernant la porte fenêtre elle ferme que vers le haut, dans la pièces à vivre les loquet sont rouiller et la gros point négatif pas de climatisation dans la pièce à vivre malgré les volets fermés c'ai étouffant. Impossible de passer l'après-midi dans cette pièce malgré un ventilateur sa ne suffit pas . Autre point la suite parentale au dernier étage point négatif le lit king size et en faite 2 lit une place qui ont été rapprocher donc très désagréable matelas à ressort mauvaise qualité. Parasol casser la déco et belle mais la maison manque beoucoup d'entretien pour 1480 €la semaine ont trouve mieux à éviter 2 semaine de calvaires et aucune assistance du propriétaire ou de l'interlocutrice.

Maison très bien équipée
Maison au cœur d’un Petit village dans les montagnes, facile d’acces. De la place pour se garer autour de la maison. A 1h de tous les lieux touristiques de la partie est de l’andalousie. La piscine est très agréable, la maison grande et bien équipée, tant au niveau du matériel pour cuisiner, lave vaisselle, machine à laver avec la lessive... La clim fonctionne bien indispensable dans les chambres en été :) Le seul inconvenient est les bruits des bars juste à côté de la maison. Mais les ventilateurs des chambres mis en route couvre le bruit de la rue. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison.

La casa tiene muy buenas vistas, está decorada con muy buen gusto y es bastante grande. La parte de la piscina es ideal para relajarse, disfrutando de un buen baño y una barbacoa. Lo que mejoraría: los colchones que son de muelle y son muy incómodos y el ruido de los bares, desde muy temprano hasta muy tarde los fines de semana.

A perfect taste of real Spain in a beautiful house
Everything was perfect from start to finish. All communication with the owner was easy, quick and very helpful. Any questions were answered really promptly both before and during the stay. Pepi was there to allow us to get into house early and 6 cold beers in the fridge were a welcome touch. House was the best equipped we've ever stayed in and the pool area was amazing. We loved all the chilling out areas around the house. The village was great and we saw no-one that wasn't Spanish in our time there (perfect for us). We loved the "nightlife" -sitting out on the street for a copa and enjoyed choosing a free tapita with drinks. Our favourite bar was Miguel's at the entrance to the village-very friendly and great food but the food in all the bars was good. Recommend the pizza place for takeaway chicken at the weekend with homemade alioli. Highly recommended and hope to be back someday.

Fantastic house
We have just returned from staying at the house and had a fantastic time. The house is huge and has a really nice pool. As stated in the blurb, there is a bar next door so the front of the house is noisy at night but my daughter slept in the back and was absolutely fine. Communication with the owner was easy. Très belle maison mais beaucoup de bruit
Magnifique maison dans un village typique espagnol. Idéalement placée pour visiter l’Andalousie. Seul inconvénient : La maison est située en face d’un bar et les vitres sont en simple vitrage... Impossible donc de dormir avant une certaine heure le soir... et reveil très matinal par les bruits de la rue.

D'excellentes vacances !
Une maison magnifiquement renovée et très bien équipée. Quand nous sommes arrivés la maison était impeccable ! Idéalement placée pour visiter Séville, Cordoue, Grenade et Malaga et bien d'autres petits bijoux Andalous. Grace à la piscine, on peut se rafraichir à tout heure de la journée. L'espace extérieur avec le barbecue est un vrai bonheur pour passer les soirées (et une partie de la nuit). Chaque soir (et jusqu'à tard dans la nuit) beaucoup d'animations dans le village avec de nombreux bars à tapas. Nos amis espagnols (de 7 à 99 ans) vivent avec la fraicheur de la nuit. Bref, d'excellentes vacances !

Casa confortable bien ubicada para conocer gran parte de Andalucía
La casa es muy amplia y tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Aunque está distribuida en 3 plantas, todas las escaleras cuentan con puertas de seguridad para los niños y también se dispone de trona y cuna, todo ello nos vino muy bien al viajar con un niño pequeño. Me gustaría destacar que tanto el propietario (Nigel Watt) como la mujer encargada de la casa (Pepi) estuvieron a nuestra disposición en todo momento para lo que necesitáramos. Tuvieron un gran detalle dejándonos algunos alimentos y productos locales. La casa estaba muy limpia a nuestra llegada y la calefacción funcionó a la perfección en toda la casa, además, se dispone de A/A en todas las estancias. La ubicación de la casa es perfecta para conocer gran parte de Andalucía: Córdoba, Málaga y Granada están a una hora aproximadamente, y luego muchos lugares como Antequera, Ronda, Priego de Córdoba, Iznájar, Zuheros, Parque Natural de Sierras Subbéticas, Mijas, la Axarquía (Nerja, Frigiliana,...), etc. Importante disponer de vehículo propio, no faltarán sitios para visitar, antes se agotarán los días de la estancia. En nuestro caso, estuvimos en la casa en los días de Semana Santa, lo que supuso bastante bullicio exterior por encontrarnos junto a varios bares y la plaza del pueblo. Es algo puntual, pero recomiendo llevar tapones para los oídos si la estancia será en fines de semana, festivos o época estival. Lo que menos nos gustó fue la poca iluminación existente en el comedor y los dormitorios (no en el resto de estancias), el estilo de las lámparas crea un ambiente muy íntimo y acogedor, pero era realmente insuficiente para ver con claridad, mejoraríamos ese aspecto. Por ello una estrella menos. Por lo demás todo perfecto. Volveríamos sin duda a alojarnos en la casa de Nigel, nos quedamos con las ganas de disfrutar de la piscina y el cenador, es un plus con el que muy pocas casas cuentan.

Fantastic house, lovely pool, great location
We loved this house. Spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Pool and garden were relaxing and well maintained and the barbeque area was the icing on the cake. Pepi, who manages the property, was friendly and helpful. The bar next door didn't bother us at all. Whilst you could hear a bit of noise in the evening, for us it gave the village a sense of life and community. It also serves great food and drinks at very reasonable prices and we found the locals charming. Overall a real gem and we would definitely come back.

Andalucia Adventure
I would highly recommend this house. It is centrally located in Andalucía so you can access Seville, Cordoba and Granada with a 1:30 to 2 hour drive. The kitchen was well stocked with staples so all you need to worry about is the food you want to prepare. Their are 3 local bars on the street that are a lot of fun to meet the people of the town. Would go again in a heartbeat. Thank you Nigel

Fantastic townhouse, excellent host
Nigel's Townhouse is near the borders of the areas of Malaga, Granada and Cordoba, in the heart of the olive production that dominates the surrounding hills. The setting is village more than town, in a good way, typically tranquil - although our stay coincided with a 3 evening festival of traditional song and poetry which filled the street outside with happy locals. The village is big enough to have general stores that was very friendly as well as pizza, bar etc. Just beyond the village many dusty tracks lead into the olive trees, many officially for walking/hiking for anyone who can take the heat or is investigating in cooler months. We wanted to give our children a snapshot of real Spain, without everything automatically translated into English and during our 10 day stay at the villa we enjoyed the local flavour, the nearby lake - diving from a pedallo into the clean cool waters - and also went cultural in visits to Granada and Malaga central. We also hiked in El Torcal, 50 mins away in the car and a spectacle that was quite breathtaking. Antequera, near to El Torcal was also well worth a visit. Of course the seaside is also quite accessible, and we did a day at a water park - though we preferred the gentle buzz of the beach at the lake just 15 mins away by car. As to the Townhouse itself if was as pictured, stylish, well furnished, comfortable beds, very well functioning galley kitchen, more than enough bathrooms, good showers, plenty of towels, sunbeds for the pool, BBQ, good Wifi... we have nothing other than praise for it, for Nigel, and for his local help in the shape of Pepi. From booking through to departure we felt like everything had been thought through carefully for our benefit.

Lovely Spanish townhouse in a very Spanish village
The townhouse, village and area were all beautiful and the weather amazing. While being in the heart of the village took me a few days to get used to, once settled we felt very relaxed, chilled and part of village life. Eating out with the locals in the evenings and exploring nearby Iznajar and it's amazing lake, was a wonderful experience. The views in the morning from the balcony were fantastic. We will certainly visit the area again and would certainly stay in the townhouse. It can be a little noisy in the mornings and evenings but that's just part of village life and we embraced it - wonderful week! Thanks Nigel 👍☀️🕶🍷😎
