„Augusta gem - steps from Root, wineries, and a fantastic hot tub!This adorable property is perfectly situated in Augusta, literally just steps from Root Restaurant (the whole reason for my trip!) and a short walk to August and Mount Pleasant wineries. „Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. It is pretty light with the street lights as there are no shades so if your used to sleeping in dark rooms that will not happen here. Very historic building we were not there very much other than to just sleep.“
