„We were only here for a night, but it was a great stay! Clean, cool artwork, amazing location in Old San Juan, walkable and very accommodating host. Highly Recommend!“

„The stay was ok although I made a reservation for one room and they switched me to another. Same happened with another family member. Also it would have been nice to have some complimentary bottled water. The sink was also way too small. So it was a room good enough to sleep in but not necessary one comfortable enough to relax in. “

„The place is extremely spacious allowing guests to find their own quiet corners while allowing everyone to feel comfortable. It was not clear that this was a shared property, and as such, it was a bit startling to have the garage door opening day and night and having people pass in front of the curtainless front door and glass wall. The host was very responsive which was nice. Would definitely stay here agian!“

"This was my second time at El Colonial. As the first time, it was great. Staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. I always feel very welcome. Sadly I always just stay one night. But it is definitely worth to make my way here from the airport. Hotel is in the midst of old San Juan and lots of restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. Very nice roof terrace for some drinks or just some peace and quiet. I will certainly stay again."

"Kein Stuhl im Zimmer. Vergrgrößerungsspiegel im Bad ohne Stromanschluss. Gehört an die Wand, nicht auf den Waschtisch. Leider typisch amerikanisches Bettzeug. Kein Cover für Federbett , sondern nur einzelne Laken! Jeden Tag Chaos im Bett, außer man bewegt sich überhaupt nicht. Matratzen sehr gut."
