Way too much money paid for an old and not clean suite with two bedrooms. Doors worn down. At night fire alarm but nobody could know it was one because there was no announcement. Only a bell that was not very loud in the floor. No bell in the room. Many guests were looking out of their rooms with question marks in their eyes. Had it not been a false alarm half of the guests who decided to stay in the room would have taken the wrong decision just because the hotel hasn’t the right process for a fire alarm. Fire brigade then told us it was a false alarm. No announcement about the end of the situation either by hotel staff.

The only thing that was an issue was the noise of the sea planes. Luckily we didn’t need to sleep in. Actually we took a sea plane tour and the hotel is convenient to walk to that but trade off is noise from planes.

After a bit of a shaky check in with regard to a room we didn’t like, the staff resolved the issue and we we were given a room that was satisfactory. Rooms are large and well appointed with an excellent sized bathroom with a very large countertop. There was a Juliette style balcony which allowed for fresh air. The property is beautifully maintained with beautiful flowers and trees. The outdoor pool is heated and there are several barrel sized saunas out by the pool. Heated towels are provided by the pool and there are plenty of lounge chairs. There are two restaurants on site each with very nice bars. Also there is a coffee shop serving Starbucks and light bites. The location is unbeatable and we would not hesitate staying here again.

Air conditioning is not the norm here, so the rooms don't have it. Expect to be uncomfortable all night.

Beautiful hotel. Nice pools, hot tub, sauna. Staff are wonderful. Easy and quick check in/out. Quiet rooms. Wifi didnt work. Quite pricey. Overall loved our stay. Beautiful area.

One thing we disliked was the exceptionally poor choice of in-room TV options. Absolutely nothing anyone would want to watch. However, we went down to the restaurant/bar to watch the NCAA basketball championship and it was closed! But the night manager opened it up just for us and provided food and drink service. It was very special to lay sprawled out on the sofa withthe entire place to ourselvs.

Loved the proximity to Stanley Park, the free bicycles (2 hours, non-electric), waterfront access, cleanliness, and staff. Did not like that they had booked a teen and pre-teen dance competition. Nothing against 10-14 year olds, but dealing with hundreds of loud and invasive pre-teen era taking over the pool and virtually all seating areas, eating boxes of pizza in the lobby was TOO much.
