The apartment is an authentic Valletta property that has been refurbished and renovated to modern standards in 2018. The apartment is equipped and furnished to accommodate tourists and business trips alike. The self check-in and check-out service along with our 24/7 support team makes your stay convenient and easy.
The apartment forms part of a residential block of 5 apartments and is served with a staircase. The apartment is situated on the second floor.
The apartment has been set up to host short let guests offering them optimal confort for their stay. For heating and cooling of the apartment, mounted AC units are installed in the living area to service the open living-, dining- and kitchen area and in the bedroom. An 80 liter boiler is installed for hot water.
We provide guests with clean bedlinen and towels upon arrival and other basic amenities such as hand soap, toilet paper, cleaning products etc. In winter we provide duvets and there are extra blankets for a cozy time on the sofa and in the summer months the beds are made up with flat sheets instead. The beds have quality mattrasses for optimal sleeping comfort. The sizes of the mattrasses are 160 x 190 cm in the bedroom and 140 x 200 cm in the living room (bedsofa). The apartment is further equipped with a washing machine, drying rack, iron and iron board, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, built in fridge/freezer, built in oven, induction hob, hob extractor, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. There is a fast WiFi internet connection and a TV.
The lay-out is in the form of a hallway leading to an open living,- dining and kitchen area and a hallway leading to a bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom gives access to a small back balcony overlookin neighbouring buildings and their back gardens.
This property is managed by DeVink Estates. We are available to help out with any information and assistance (off-site and on-site) related to the property. For after office hours assistance we offer an emergency number. Upon booking we send a booking confirmation with further check-in instructions and refer to our official website on Malta tourist related events and information.
We offer a self-check-in procedure. The official check-in time is 4PM. We outsource the cleaning and preparation of the property. For security reasons and upon the cleaning staff' own request, it is not possible to check-in or leave luggage before the cleaning staff is ready. As soon as the cleaning staff is ready they will notify us by which we can send you the code for the keybox to check-in. For this reason we cannot guarantee that you can check-in before 4PM and we will only know if it is possible on the actual day of your check-in. If you would like to leave your luggage we recommend that you book a luggage storage space online.
Official check-out is latest 10AM. Our cleaning staff is outsourced and they schedule their appointments to on the check-out day 10AM regardless of whether new guests arrive on the same day or not.
Please note that there are a number of luggage storage terminals in Malta where you can store luggage in the event that you wish to store your luggage before check-in time or after check-out. Storage in the property (before check-in or after check-out) is not possible. We offer practical information such as where to find the lugguge storage terminals, how to get to the apartment via different modes of transport, nearby shops with opening hours etc. upon booking confirmation.
Each guest is given a clean set of a shower towel and face towel and bedlinen. Please note that we do not iron the laundry. In the winter months guests are provided with duvets and duvet covers.
The property will be stocked with:
- 2 toilet rolls per toilet
- 1 bottle of Washing liquid for dishes
- 1 kitchen sponge
- 1 kitchen sponge cloth
- 2 tablets for dishwasher (if dishwasher is available)
- 1 tablets for washing machine or bottle
- 1 bottle of hand soap
- 1 cleaning cloth
Please note that cleaning fee includes the cleaning, stocking and supply of clean bedlinen and towels and garbage collection. This means that guests are offered the apartment in a clean state with fresh bedlinen, towels and the above mentioned stocking of the apartment. Guests can book additional cleaning, fresh bedlinen and towels and garbage collection and re-stocking of the apartment during their stay at an additional cleaning fee.
House Rules for Short Let Guests
Please take notice of our house rules to safeguard the wellbeing of the property and the neighborhood. We do not intend to issue fines and our aim is to guide you and make every rule and regulation as clear as possible to avoid misunderstandings.
• No Parties & Noise: Keep voices low in common areas. Loud guests will be warned first; repeated noise will incur fines and possible lease termination and eviction. Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM.
• No Smoking: Smoking inside the property or common areas is prohibited. Ignoring this results in a €200 fine.
• Registered Guests Only: All guests must be registered online. No unregistered guests are allowed, and bringing them in may end your stay immediately and incur a €200 fine.
• No Pets: Pets are not allowed. Bringing one may lead to immediate lease termination, eviction and fines.
• Garbage: Separate waste and follow collection schedules. Improper disposal can result in a €150 fine per bag. Garbage can be left inside if you're unsure which we will take care of upon checkout.
• Don’t move furniture: Other than chairs, do not move furniture. This can cause damage to the floors and furniture and, cause a noise disturbance to the neighbors
• Take care of keys; losing them costs €25 plus key replacement.
• Check-Out Time: Please leave by 10 AM. Late departures cost €75/hour and could delay the next guests’ arrival. If the cleaning staff cannot prepare the property in time due to your delayed checkout, potential cancellations and/or reimbursement costs will be invoiced to you.
• Take care of the property and linen/towels: Don’t stain the towels and bedlinen. Shower before using them to avoid leaving stains from lotions and sunscreen. Any damages will be reported and invoiced.
