„Cozy cabin on the lake. So many activities including kayaking, canoeing and just floating. Very private location but close enough that restaurants deliver. Easy to get down to the lake from the cabin, even for seniors. Full entertainment areas at the waterfront. I hosted a dinner for twelve with no problem. Owner is great and available if you need him“

„Everything about the property was perfect exactly as listed . Close to the fun downtown area but far enough away that the neighborhood seems pretty rough, but hey it’s Albany. The stay was awesome and if I ever come back this way I’ll definitely be looking to stay here again. “

„The best feature was being on the far side of Tanglewood! Getting in and out was very easy! My husband enjoyed the town beach as well“

And the home was decorated tastefully and simply. Not cluttered at all, and with everything we needed for our vacation. The host is very kind and responsive.“

A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. If you love quiet and the sounds of nature, this is the perfect place for you. We can’t wait to stay there again soon.“

„Very nice place to stay for our 3 day hike on the AT. The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. It has an even better restaurant on top (you need reservations) and is right on the Appalachian Trail so you will meet all sorts on ...

„Amazingly beautiful property and clean space for rest and relaxation. Kliment is a kind and wonderful host - his abode is next to the rental space and he made sure we had everything we needed, and was kind enough to share eggs from his chickens, and tomatoes and herbs from his garden, all while giving us the privacy we needed on our getaway. “

„We booked this escape as a 1/2 way point between family in NJ and MA and what a hidden gem it is! Dog friendly was a priority, but the magic of this place was a welcomed surprise. All weekend we commented on wishing we stayed longer and that we must come back to really enjoy the property and cozy feel that warms the soul! The cabin is meticulously maintained and it is very clear that the family loves their home away from home! Can’t wait to return!!“

"The room was so dirty that the hotel should have been closed. We photographed everything! There were bed bugs! Mold in the ventilation! Dirty smeared mattresses! The floor was sticky and there were dried drinks stains. There were splashes of dirt on all the walls, everywhere! The bathroom was a horror and super disgusting! Toilet dirty, paint chipped off the walls. Shower defective and did not work! Dirty sink! We had booked the room for 2 nights but left immediately after the first night. This was an imposition and the health department and travel department should close this hotel! Wyndham shame on you for not living up to your name. We are happy to make all photos available!"
