„The suite was spacious and well equipped. Great kitchenette that we could prepare breakfast in the morning.Location was central and no issues accessing downtown area. We ran every morning on hiking trails Kidston Lake Beach and Macintosh Trails. All assessible from the house. Basement suite was fairly quiet and no issues with noise sleeping at night. House rules were clearly outlined and we had no issues respecting them.“

„Great price in a quiet safe neighborhood close to Halifax. It is a family home so you will hear the sounds of a family getting ready for school starting around 7am. Areas out of direct sight were not cleaned but main areas were okay. Dishes could have been cleaner, or dish soap provided. Overall fine accommodation for a price much better than halifax hotels.“

„The place is very spacious, but over all the unit was very dirty, no counter space in the kitchen or fan, the stove and all the untensil drawers were dirty. There was no Kleenex and only mirror in the unit was in the washroom. When we arrived there was a used glass on the table and used dish sponge in the sink. There was a shoe tray with shoes already on it. There was no space for us to keep our shoes. the kitchen has very limited amount of dishes and we had to ask for extra towel, even though ...

„The place was clean and private. Easy and close to many things. Host had excellent communication. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and appliances even though we didn't use it. They have a Keurig and k cups to use when we were there for you coffee drinkers.“

„I really enjoyed my stay at the Dome. It's comfortable, cozy and the perfect location for exploring Peggy's Cove. Fav things: the indoor and outdoor fire, sauna, and bird feeders. Constant views of blue jays, juncos, doves and chipmunks feeding and fleeting in the woods. The bed is really comfy, too, and there are plenty of appliances and kitchen tools to cook your own meals if you plan for what is available. “

„Very nice property. Worth mentioning Is that there is also a basement suite. Too bad the ones using it during our stay weren’t considerate. This was discussed with owner and tended to immediately. We appreciated that to the fullest extent and the owners help surpassed our expectations. Thank you again. There is a bit of thru traffic but other than that, no issues whatsoever. We enjoyed the property very much.“

„The place was not clean as much expected. All the spices, salt and oil were date expired. Basement’s rooms were full of bugs on the floor and in the room. Couldn’t sleep well because of those. Overall not recommended. Bad experience. “

„The property was clean but very outdated. The building was in need of repairs and updating. The bed in the « fourth » bedroom in the basement needs to be replaced as it was the least comfortable sleep. Also in the basement was a toilet inside the laundry/utility room. The front window has rust streaks down the outside. Part of our family only stayed one night so we moved up to the main bed and that was better. I would not bill this as a four bed rental unless the basement room and bath are ...
