One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. We saw the hosts and actually had a chance to speak with them - a lovely extremely friendly couple. And we were so grateful that we did because they had the best recommendation on the restaurant which was just perfect. As I said this place has a soul and character. We felt like home.“

„This house was a little piece of heaven tucked away on the Esopus Creek. The house provided 2 paddleboards and 2 kayaks, all of which we used.At first glance, the creek is not very inviting because of the algae, but when you get to the middle of the creek, it is very clear.There is also a hot tub, ping pong table and lots of games.The house was nicely decorated and plenty of room for 10 of us.
