This charming country house is in a very peaceful location right on the edge of the forest, offering stunning views over the flowing waters of the Uvån in Stjärnsfors, Uddeholm. While you'll feel completely immersed in nature, you're still just a 10-minute drive from the center of Hagfors, where you'll find a good selection of supermarkets, shops and restaurants.

The house is spacious and offers comfort with a recently modernized bathroom, four freshly decorated bedrooms, and a cozy living/dining room. The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessary appliances, including a Nespresso machine, bread maker, pizza oven, and gourmet set. Start your day relaxing with a coffee on the veranda or at the kitchen table, enjoying the unobstructed views of the rippling water. With a bit of luck, you might even spot beavers! In summer, pick fresh raspberries right in front of the house, and in winter, the kids can enjoy sledding in the spacious garden. In the evenings, take a stroll across the old railway bridge to the other side of the water, where a charming open fire pit awaits. Bed linen and kitchen towels are included in the rental. Electricity is included up to 100 kWh per week. Additional consumption is charged separately.

Nature & Activities: Year-Round Enjoyment
From your own garden, you can step directly into the forest, where you can enjoy short or long walks on quiet paths. Here, you're more likely to encounter deer and elk than people, for an authentic nature experience. If you're feeling more active, you can enjoy fantastic mountain biking or take a unique ride on the rail-bike track between Hagfors and Stjärnsfors. The water right outside your door, complete with its own jetty, is ideal for activities like fishing (especially pike), swimming, and canoeing. A canoe is available upon request for a special way to explore the water.

Even in winter, there's plenty to do! Cross-country skiers will find various trails in the area, and several ski slopes are within a comfortable distance for a day of skiing.

A Dive into History
Stjärnsfors is a place with a rich history. This is where the story of Uddeholmsbolaget began in 1668, when a dam was built in the Uvån to harness water power. Uddeholmsbolaget grew into an industrial giant, and for 200 years, Stjärnsfors was the center of its operations. Although industrial activities have now ceased, you'll still find many old remnants in the landscape. Some are clearly visible, while others are a bit hidden, waiting for you to discover them.
