„The third 3 day stay of a 9 day holiday. The bach/chalet was well appointed, to a high standard, and suitable for couples. Set down a small track it is in a quiet location and is a good base to explore Whangarei heads and the adjacent coast. A pleasant and comfortable place for a long weekend.“

„Lovely bach, excellent location. Would love to make a suggestion to have some pedestal fans available to use at night for sleeping, it’s such a nice warm bach but unbearable for sleep…….we wished we’d brought our own fans. Also Bachcare sent us the wrong lockbox code but we’re lucky they answered the phone with the first call and rectified the problem. Thankyou to the owners for renting out their home so people like us can have a summer holiday at the best location!!“

„Kathryn and Kevin were such lovely hosts. We had to amend our booking due to the Auckland floods and they were very understanding and accommodating. There was even a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us on arrival as an acknowledgment of how hard it had been for us to get there which was such a lovely touch. The cottage is new, clean and prettily decorated and is in an excellent location to get to Ocean Beach and the surrounding bays. We just wish the weather had been better as Ocean ...

„The parking lot is very spacious and the garbage is comfortable. Also, there was a Ruakaka stream in front of the garden, so it was good as a healing point. If there is a heat pump, it will be a recommended accommodation for four seasons that I really want to visit even in hot summer and cold winter.“
