My wife and I especially enjoyed the mornings having breakfast on the screened in porch. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.“

„We absolutely loved our stay at the Highland Cottage. The check in process could not have been easier, we were greeted to such a clean space with homemade cookies waiting for us. The cottage does so much with the space, it felt so comfortable! It was incredibly well stocked with a full spice rack, pots, pans, butter, extra bedding, games. Everything you could want and more. „We had a wonderful trip and time in Saranac Lake with our stay at Noonmark! We enjoyed the dock and chairs on the dock from the time we woke up until we went to bed. My children caught so many fish and made many memories to last a lifetime. The house was clean and just as depicted in the photos. Perfect temperature in the house with the ceiling fans too! „The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying ...

„Perfect home for a couple of friends, maybe 3, to explore the Lake Placid area. Only 20-30 minutes from great hikes, Whiteface, John Brown Farm, Mt. Van Hoevenberg, Lake Saranac. A short walk to ice cream, pizza, and just a little farther to downtown LP. Host was very responsive and home is sufficiently equipped. My friend and I had a very nice stay.“

„Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. „The place was perfect for a week in the Adirondacks with the family. Kayaks, well stocked updated kitchen, plenty of room to sleep 6, and two levels of deck. Great interface with the outdoors but the WiFi worked great to occupy kids during down time. Most of all, the owner John was super accommodating. One of the air conditioners in a bedroom stopped working and a new one was installed in about 2 hours! Five stars not enough. “

„A cozy cabin in the woods, only a brief walk away from the lake, and a comfortable fit for our family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen - we were able to cook all our meals easily. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and the swimming area and kayaks that were available for guest use. „The house was very clean and well stocked. You can tell they take pride in the house and property. Plenty of room for groups of several people. Screened in porch is very spacious compared to other properties in the area we've stayed at. Access to the water was easy and canoes and kayaks were available for use. Location is only a few minutes from town, many lakes, ponds, and hikes. Host was very nice and prompt answering any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.“

"Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
