„My son and I visit Sewanee University and stayed overnight. We loved the stay. The house was cozy and comfortable. It was freezing the night we stayed or we would've enjoyed the firepit...so quiet and peaceful there. The kitchen was well equipped with the necessities needed. I honestly hope my son chooses Sewanee for college so that I can take 2 day mini vacation in this tiny home community when I come to visit him. “

It’s an old house and a very short walk to the Lynchburg Square and the Jack Daniel Distillery. Literally walk down the driveway and cross over the street and them walk across a small walking bridge over a creek and on the other side you are in the square by Barrel House BBQ. „There were significant shortcomings for which we requested a partial refund - but have heard nothing, not even an apology. The gas fireplace, which was a crucial part of our decision to rent this property, was not functional. One double bed had no sheets at all, the other had only a bottom sheet, requiring the sleeper to use the blanket as a top sheet. The host's "solution" was to have the housekeeper hang a bag with a sheet on the front door handle the next day. There were minor omissions ...
