„The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.“

„My husband and I had a wonderful time at The French Cottage! We came here for our honeymoon and the cottage is absolutely adorable and so romantic. „My family had such a great stay. I was able to stay downstairs with wheelchair access and our friends stayed upstairs. Everything was spotless and the yard with the creek was beautiful. Thank you for the wheelchair access from the car parking too. We will definitely be booking here anytime we are in the area. It was perfect for us!“

„This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway! The house is the perfect size for two adults (plus a dog) and the porch and backyard areas are very comfortably furnished and inviting. There are so many nice little touches and fun extras that I don’t usually see when renting a home. The kitchen and bath have all of the basics that you need and the entire home is very comfortable, cozy, and clean. The host has done a fabulous job of making this vacation spot delightful!“

„Beautiful and relaxing!! If you're a nature lover you can't ask for more!! Surrounded by Rhododendron on a creek with many little waterfalls....and trout.....at the end of a gravel road! Moss covered boulders that when we walked up to front of the cabin many little blue/purple butterflies exploded up from the ground!!! Wow!!“
