  • Mach eine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit, entspann dich und tauche ein in die Natur in unserem „Sandy Lake Charm Cottage“ mit Blick auf das türkisfarbene Wasser des Sandy Lake. Das Ferienhaus liegt direkt gegenüber dem besten öffentlichen Strand der Kawarthas – mit sandigem Untergrund und sanft abfallendem Ufer, ideal für kleine Kinder. Wir veranstalten auch regelmäßig Wochenenden für Mütter.

    Whirlpool, Sauna, Haustiere willkommen, Trampolin, Kanu/Kajak, Tischfußball, Grill, Feuerstelle, Brettspiele und vieles mehr!

    Das Cottage bietet Platz für 10 Personen.
    Erdgeschoss:
    3 Schlafzimmer und ein komplettes Badezimmer, voll ausgestattete Küche, Wohnzimmer mit Essbereich und Fernseher.

    Untergeschoss:
    1 Schlafzimmer plus ein Arbeitszimmer, ein komplettes Badezimmer und ein geräumiges
    Freizeitzimmer mit Sofas, Fernseher, Airhockey-Tisch, Tischfußball, Brettspielen und vielem mehr.
    Gesamtzahl der Betten: 1 Kingsize-Bett, 2 Queensize-Betten, Etagenbett (Doppelbett + Einzelbett), 2 Doppelschlafsofas. Großzügiger, umzäunter Garten mit Grill, Feuerstelle, Terrasse, Sauna, Whirlpool, Trampolin, Kanu, Kajak.

    Gästenzugang:
    4 Parkplätze in der Einfahrt.
    Unser Ferienhaus liegt direkt gegenüber dem öffentlichen Strand am Sandy Lake, mit Blick auf den See vom Grundstück aus.

    Wir stellen Toilettenpapier, Papierhandtücher, Handseife, Spülmittel, Geschirrspülmittel, Küchentücher, Handtücher, Decken und Kissen zur Verfügung.

    Bitte bringt eure eigene Bettwäsche, Bad- und Strandtücher sowie Toilettenartikel mit. Im Juli und August vermieten wir nur von Samstag bis Samstag.

We have stayed at this cottage for 5 years now and it’s always been a great time. It’s so nice to walk across the road to the beach. The beach is always clean, no seaweed or rocks, and shallow water for a long way. The kids love the trampoline. Hot tub and sauna are always in great condition. Highly recommended.

The house was not well cleaned before we got there. A better vacuuming job between stays is required. The majority of the beds are also very uncomfortable (apart from the king size which was comfy), and should look at being replaced. Otherwise the property is great as always. This is our 3rd summer coming here and we will return again. The new fire pit was a nice surprise!

Beautiful cottage

If your ever looking for a great place to stay, This is the place it was beautiful, clean close to the water that was clean and clear great cottage with lots to do our kids ranged from 7-12 and there was so much for them to do they didn’t want to leave great relaxing spots for adults place is like a spa oasis recommend to all and I will be going back again for sure

We didn't use the hot tub. Sauna was great! Kitchen was well stocked, loved the master bedroom! Kids were overwhelmed with toys in basement! Nice bathrooms. Very spacious house.lots of blankets to snuggle up with on the amazing couch! Only thing missing was a small stool for little ones to reach sink to brush teeth.Very enjoyable experience so close to the water!Thank you for everything!!!!

Highly recommend

We (6 adults with children) had a wonderful stay at the cottage – thank you for the cozy atmosphere! The location is absolutely perfect, with a clean and warm lake steps away. We enjoyed using the host’s canoe, relaxed in the hot tub, and grilled delicious kebabs by the fire pit. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! Having the lake just across the street was such a bonus. The kids were hoping to swim, but it was a bit too cold this time. We still had a great time with the kayaking, jacuzzi, and all the games—especially the table games. I also appreciated how well-equipped the place was, down to the smallest details in the kitchen, even a garlic grinder!

A wonderful experience

The property was very well looked after. The host added little thoughtful items like a basket of goodies on the kitchen table with cold drinks, cookies and snacks and miniature bottles of shampoo and soap in the toilets that made us feel welcome and cared for.

Wonderful space and amenities

We held a work retreat at this location and it was incredible! Chirs was very helpful and communicative, and our check-in and check-out process was great! We enjoyed the cottage, the location right across from the beach, and the use of the sauna, hot tub and canoe and kayaks! Don't forget the firepit and the beautiful backyard. The front yard is also gorgeous and calming! We loved it! We would love ot return for our annual retreat next year, and highly recommend this place!

Very comfortable cottage with great amenities & very close to the lake & small public beach with picnic tables. Beach is suitable for young children, with shallow water & sandy bottom. Only negatives were that the road between the cottage & lake can be quite busy, also the chemicals in the hot tub were very strong when we first used it. I would suggest leaving the lid open for about 10 minutes before getting in & operating the jets.

Our week at cottage will be fondly remembered by all nine of us. 6 adults and 2 tweens and 1 teen. Loads of room. Comfy furniture and good beds. Well appointed Kitchen. Lots of lovely outdoor space. Hot tub was fun. Did not use Sauna. One disadvantage was there was no safe place to take dogs for an exercise walk unless drove a bit. The road in front super busy and speed limit not adhered to. Great getaway

We have rented this cottage for 3 years now and it never disappoints our family of 12, from ages 1-63. The kids love the trampoline and how close the beach is to the property. The water is clear and shallow for several meters so we are not afraid the kids will get to any drop off areas. There are little towns with parks, boats, restaurants close by. A free zoo 30 minutes away. The hot tub and sauna are always in great condition. The owners recently changed, but the new owners are very welcoming and set out some baskets in the cottage with some essentials and treats. Overall, this cottage is a great place to stay.

Great stay

The host was very good at communicating. I wish I had asked specifically what size sheets were needed for each bed, as not all the sheets we brought fit, but that was my fault for not asking. Way more amenities on site than we expected such as camping chairs, beach toys, house toys, pack and play etc. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 children on our trip. Nice to have the trampoline to keep the kids occupied while we were busy setting things up or making food etc. So close to the beach which was very handy, yet you couldn’t hear the noise of people from the beach which was nice! My only comment would be that the cottage felt a bit damp and could probably use some dehumidifiers going in the summer to help with that. Great stay overall and we will definitely be back!

AMAZING PROPERTY!!!

My wife and I stayed here a week. It was very easy to find using Waze. The property is directly across the street from Sandy Lake Beach. It is very private and serene. Note of caution, we have 2 smalls dogs and went out late in the the backyard. We heard coyotes growling very closely to where we were standing. We didn't take them out to the back yard after dark after this. This is no fault of the owners, just mother nature. The house itself was amazing. It has a very opulent feel to it. It was very relaxing. We had a couple very minor issues and the owners were very quick to reply and help out. We loved our stay and most likely will return in the future. We highly recommend this cottage. :)
