Das Personal konnte irgendwie nicht mit uns kommunzieren und selbst ein Hallo fiel ihnen schwer. Auf der Hotelseite steht das check-in ab 10 uhr ist nachdem wir um 10:30 im Hotel angekommen sind, sagte der Rezeptionist die Zimmer wären noch nicht fertig Weil check-out um 12.00 wäre. Kann mir da jemand die logik erklären. Zimmer war sehr klein, aber ganz ok. Die Sauberkeit ließ ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig. Frühstück war ganz in Ordnung, kein Riesenbuffet, aber es hat vollkommen ausgereicht. Das positivste an dem Hotel ist, es ist sehr zentral, in ein paar Minuten Fußweg erreicht man die Stazione Centrale und von dort aus kommt man eigentlich überall hin. Ich würde mich nur abends, Sobald es dunkel ist nicht unbedingt aufhalten... Sehr viel kriminalitãt.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel near the iconic Milan Duomo, and it exceeded all my expectations. The central location was unbeatable, just a short stroll from the Duomo and right in the heart of Milan’s vibrant shopping district. Being so close to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and other high-end boutiques made it a dream for both sightseeing and shopping enthusiasts.
The hotel staff were incredibly polite and attentive, always eager to assist with directions, recommendations, or any special requests. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing visit.
Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and delicious options, and the dining area provided a great view of the bustling streets below. The hotel’s proximity to public transportation was also a huge plus, making it easy to explore other parts of Milan.
Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a central location, excellent service, and a comfortable stay in Milan. Highly recommended!

Based on the pictures provided by the hotel and the 4-star rating, this hotel does not live up to the claimed standard. Everything is old (although functional) with many things falling apart. Most personal is nice and helpful, breakfast choices are limited but sufficient. One can find many stains on the ceiling, floor, carpet, furniture etc. The entire hotel was probably built in the 70-ies and never renovated. Considering the price, one should not expect luxury. Big advantage is location very close to the key attractions of Milano. Also, subway is just 3 minutes away i. e. getting around is very easy and convenient. Public parking just next door, place can be reached quite easily by car.

Wir waren 6 Nächte im MEC Hotel, es war für den Preis TOP.
Frühstücksauswahl gering aber OK.
Sauberkeit war super im Zimmer, nur das
Bett ist ungemütlich.
Metrostation sind ca. 8-10 min weit entfernt.
Super Verbindung in die Stadtmitte.
Hotelangestellte waren sehr nett.
Im Grunde waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Average hotel. Okay for one night in Milan. Parking facilities are very limited: You have to be lucky to be able to park your car within the hotel premises. No valet parking. Breakfast features a wide range of choice while quality is average.
In the rooms it is noticeable that the hotel is not aging well. Lacks of maintenance, especially in the bathroom. Nice and cool temperature even in summer, but while the a/c can be switched off, the ventilation cannot - which can be uncomfortable at night. Ambiance generally nice and pleasant scents in room and lobby. The lady at check-out was very kind and professional, which cannot be said of the colleagues we met at check-in. All in all: Not terrible, but you might find better options at better locations.
