„Sehr hübsches historisches Haus. Empfang und Aufenthalt waren sehr schön und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Da es sich um ein sehr altes Haus handelt, hört man leider den Straßenlärm sehr stark. Die Autos und Lastwagen fahren leider oft nicht vorgeschrieben langsam, so dass es ab ca. 05.00 Uhr morgens sehr laut wird und man daher bei Lärmempfindlichkeit schlecht schlafen kann. Dafür können aber die Inhaber nichts. Man sollte einfach OROPAX dabei haben.“

„My husband and I spent our 40th wedding anniversary at the Cottage in the Woods. We travel often and mainly use VRBO if we are not staying in a hotel. „A fantastic experience. The property is gorgeous, the room was private, comfortable (in-room climate control) and exceptionally clean. The proprietors, Michelle and Roger, were welcoming and helpful, guiding me to a great local restaurant for amazing food, a couple adult beverages and relaxing live entertainment. „If you’re looking for a great home kinda feel look no further. Karen and her staff treated us like family for our 2 night stay. The rooms were perfect size for my girlfriend and I and the bed was super comfortable. Parking was super easy, unloading/ loading was no issue. The meals that we had were great and the prices were more than fair. If you’re in the Benton area and looking for a place to stay DO NOT I repeat DO NOT look any further!!“

„I travelled with my mother to hike the Falls Trail at Rickett’s Glen, and we wanted to be comfortable in our downtime. This place was perfect. It’s just a few minutes to the park itself, and the parking lot at the bottom of the trail is right down the road.
