Schöner Pool, saubere Wohnung, schöne Dachterrasse - alles, was man braucht. Und dazu noch seinen Preis absolut wert. Gleich nebenan ein Supermarkt, der das Ganze noch einfacher macht. Ich würde wiederkommen....

Du kriegst was Du siehst
Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt bei diesem Apartment. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und ist altersentsprechend gepflegt. Man muss sich dessen bewusst sein, dass es kein 4-Sterne Hotel ist. Deshalb hier noch einmal die Punkte, die wir nicht so gut fanden. Die Matratze müsste definitiv ausgetauscht werden (wir haben für ein bisschen mehr Komfort eine Bett- und Wolldecke auf die Matratze gelegt) und eine Reparatur der Klimaanlage wäre schön (Ventilatoren sind vorhanden). In unmittelbarer Nähe kann man einkaufen und der Weg zum ÖPV beträgt ca. 10 Min. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Anlage auf einem Hügel liegt. Der Weg vom Strand beträgt bestimmt 20 Minuten - bergauf. Die Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Pool mit Sanitäranlage, die auch sehr sauber ist. Wie üblich im Süden Spaniens, ist die gesamte Anlage sehr gesichert. Bis man im Apartment ist, muss man vier Tore / Türen überwinden, alle mit einem Schlüssel gesichert (zwei Tore für den Pool). Wir haben uns gefragt, wie die Situation generell im Brandfall wäre. Es besteht keine Möglichkeit bei abgeschlossenen Toren / Türen, das Apartment bzw. das Haus ohne Schlüssel zu verlassen. Auch gibt es keine alternativen Fluchtwege (das nur am Rande, man muss nicht überall das Schlimmste erwarten, es hat mich nur gewundert, wie die Bauvorschriften gehandhabt werden). Wer einen günstigen Urlaub verbringen möchte ist hier auf jeden Fall gut aufgehoben – wir haben unseren 8-tägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Pros und Contras
Tolle Lage, mit einer traumhaften Aussicht vom Balkon und noch besser von der Dachterrasse! Die Wohnanlage sehr gepflegt (Gracías Ramón!) und ein wirklich schöner Pool. Der Rest ist etwas schwieriger zu beschreiben: man sieht ja schon auf den Fotos beim Buchen, das die Wohnung in die Jahre gekommen ist. Ist OK. Die Bilder zeigen wie es ist. Aber der Zustand im Allgemeinen und einigen Dingen ganz konkret war bei uns grenzwertig. Ich habe unseren Eindruck Trevor in einer persönlichen Mail geschildert. Die Antwort war nicht sehr freundlich und besagte, für den Preis kann man nicht mehr erwarten und ich soll halt in ein fünf Sterne Hotel gehen. Wir fahren seit 30 Jahren nach Málaga, um die Familie zu besuchen. Wir kennen die Preise und können davon berichten, wie der Zustand der im allgemeinen Wohnungen ist. Wir haben nicht das Geld für ein 5 Sterne Hotel, deshalb suchen wir immer etwas Preiswertes. Daher bin ich auch der Meinung, der Preis rechtfertigt nicht alles. Damit kein falscher Eindruck entsteht, wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und der Preis von Trevor war für uns auch sehr gut. Das schätzen wir auch! Aber die negativen Aspekte kann ich dabei leider nicht ignorieren. Yohana und ihr Mann waren übrigens sehr nett! :) Auch wenn sie mir ihren Scooter nicht leihen wollte ;)

Lovely Apartment
Apartment has great views, lovely sunny balcony & terrace, lovely and clean, has everything you require for a self catering holiday. Supermarket across the road, train station ten minute walk away, good bus links also. Excellent communication with both Trevor who gave us lots of information and the agent who looks after the apartment. Would definitely recommend a stay here, excellent value for money

We really enjoyed our 4 week stay here. It was very quiet, certainly more of a residential area than a tourist one. The Dia supermarket next door was very handy, local public transport was excellent. The apartment itself had everything we needed and the kitchen was well supplied with equipment so we could eat in when we wanted to. The bed was comfortable, the washing machine a real boon, and d communication with Trevor was quick and easy. Our only negative was the sofa, it was so uncomfortable, but that really was the only thing we’d have changed.

Heel fijne plek om vakantie te vieren.
Wij hadden voor aankomst goed contact met Trevor, met aanwijzingen en informatie. Bij aankomst stond Yohana al klaar met uitleg en de sleutels. Een goed appartement op de bovenste verdieping met als extra een dakterras voor ons alleen. Alles voor een comfortabel verblijf was aanwezig. Alle keukengerei om te kunnen koken. Alle apparatuur werkte perfect. Kleine badkamer met bad en douche. Slaapkamer met een goed bed en meer dan voldoende dekens, lakens etc. Mooi uitzicht op zee en de bergen. Gratis parkeren in de straat. Vlakbij de supermarkt. 10 minuten wandelen naar het strand en de gezellige boulevard. Volop horeca op loopafstand. Kortom een heel fijne plek om vakantie te vieren.

Was advised check in 1 pm. A day before arrival this was amended to 3pm. Arrived on a very hot day at 10 am hung around till check in time. Was given apartment number. No answer on intercom after several attempts. Turns out we were at wrong entrance. We weren’t advised of this until contacting owner. Managed to get in touch with agent/cleaner, who was still cleaning our apartment. This was 4pm. She said come back at 6 pm. No way we were going to hang around in the heat for another 2 hours. The area was experiencing a heat wave. We’re coming in, you’ll have to clean around us. Apartment was clean, bedding and towels clean. Could do with a little updating. But comfortable enough. Plenty of crockery, Cooking utensils, knifes spoons etc. Apartment, no A C working, only ceiling fans and portable fans. Not good in 40 degree heat 30 at night. Just moves hot air around. Apartment could have done with a safe, as anyone can access apartment from adjoining apartments via roof terraces. Pool area very nice. Grounds are well kept . All in all a pleasant stay, apart from check in hic up.

Hello Robert. Firstly. Apoligies for check in "hiccups," during the intense costa heatwave. Sometimes this can happen during busy summer change over periods....This was first experience with your lost location in finding apartment block.. Its very safe with on site security president, who patrols the block.. Maintenance gardener is also on site keeping areas clean / secure & tidy.. AC was kept on by other guest, which burnt out causing safety risk Unfortunately adjacent terraces are a common site of many apartments in Spain.. Trevor could not have been more helpful and accessible. the place was well equipped, especially for cooking. transport was easy in either direction 6mins walk. we toured around Malaga and over to Granada without exertion. great for shopping, bars, beach about 12 mins stroll. roof terrace great for late sunshine and even some on balcony until around 4pm, lovely chilling out and watching swallows. thanks Trevor for a lovely stay.

Cuando llegamos en la casa (que está en el último piso) hacía mucha calor: con afuera 30 grados, para que en la casa circule el aire hay que dejar la puerta abierta y por la noche es difícil dormir porque no hay aire acondicionado. Hay todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda, a parte papel higiénico que no había ni un rollo, ni jabón de manos ni detergente para lavar las vajillas. No pudimos utilizar la smart tv a pesar de las indicaciones del dueño: nos fue imposible ponerla en marcha, fue un misterio. Como calidad-precio está muy bien, de fácil aparcamiento, hay también una piscina, una azotea privada y un balcón con toldo donde se puede comer. Bastante cerca de la playa y de Málaga.

Great location in lovely area
This was a good wee apartment and had what was required for a relaxing break in the sun. The pool and surrounding area was lovely, well kept and a relaxing area to lay in the sun and cool down in the pool, open 10am - 10pm and closed from end of September onwards.

Great apartment!
We had a great week in La Carihuela! Communication with Trevor and Yohana was very good. The apartment is very well equipped (including a shopping trolley and 2 beach umbrellas). It´s within walking distance of several supermarkets, the bus stop to Málaga is close by and the beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The views from the terrace are lovely and the pool is fantastic! It´s very big and is great for both cooling off and for swimming. There was hardly anyone else using it, we had it to ourselves some of the time! We hope to return next year!

Bästa läget i el Pinillo?
Lägenheten nära stationen och matvaruaffärer passade mig perfekt. Lätt att ta sig till stranden och restauranger/nöjen. Lite längre till att ta sig till Arroyo de la Miel. Kunde sola på aticon några dagar men när Caminon kom var det svårt att vara på uteplatsen såsom jag hoppats. Det ska väl inte vara något problem för framtiden då det händer så sällan. Great roof terrace
Great location and great roof terrace with panoramic views and all round Sunshine. Great views of sea to the front and mountains with cable cars to the rear. Supermarket on doorstep was so convenient. For us the train station was so handy being about six minutes walk away, and about a fifteen minute journey to Malaga Airport. Owner Trevor so easy to communicate with. Recommended for being near to everything yet still offering relaxation. Lift was handy for shopping, but with the option of outside stairs and landing to front door allowing safe covid distancing.

This small but cosy flat is light and sunny with a south facing balcony in a quiet area of La Carihuela. Large supermarket opposite and easy walking distance to the seafront and also the local shopping area of Arroyo del Miel. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My 7years old daughter & I had a wonderful time in this lil but cozy apartment. We had all we needed, as everything was quite close. La résidence est calme,tranquille et propre rien á dire.madame susanne qui s'occupe de l'appartement est trés gentille et disponible. Sauf que la chambre à coucher a besoin d'un climatiseur vu que le ventilateur est inefficace parfois le soir. J'ai trop aimé.

prima locatie
ik was er gedurende vijf weken om aan een boek te werken. In de residentie heerst absolute rust en het uitzicht werkt inspirerend. Op 10' is er een treinverbinding met oa Malaga en op wandelafstand (15') ben je aan het strand (+ restaurants) indien daar behoefte aan is. Een supermarkt is aan de overkant van de straat. Het enige minpunt? De muren van de residentie kunnen best (minstens) een laagje verf gebruiken.

Apartamento completísimo. No le falta de nada. Ideal para una pareja. La piscina fenomenal. Muy cerca del tren y un supermercado al lado. Con una mano de pintura, renovar algún mueble que se ve muy viejo y un poco más de limpieza (no estaba mal, pero algún detalle lo hacía parecer "sucio", como la cama sin hacer) sería un apartamento de diez. Saludos
