Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
This was by far the worst room I have ever stayed in. For starters, 30 minutes prior to check in, we were informed that there was a water leak in the unit at 12 York St and that we were going to be given an 'upgrade' to a unit in a different building. I booked 12 York St. because it was walking distance to the Scotiabank Arena for which we had tickets to a game. We now had to take an Uber because the new location was too far for walking. We get to the room and it was absolutely disgusting. It looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in MONTHS. The linen closet was filled with dirty towels and sheets, there was a can full of cigarette butts, the pillows had disgusting stains on them - urine? vomit?, who knows. We actually put towels on top of the pillows because we didn't want direct contact with the pillows on the bed. It smelled terribly of smoke. There was dirt and grime everywhere. We were literally afraid to touch anything in there. The pictures of the unit that was advertised were obviously AI generated. The owners should be banned from advertising on Expedia, or any other hotel/airbnb sites. Utterly disgusting.
