Overall, I rate this hotel and experience 6/10 and majority of the points are for the food and friendly staff. The food was great, the restaurant is really the only newly renovated space it seems. To not make this too long, they charged $100/night security deposit and we went in the room, it smelled awful and it was filthy. A wet towel to any surface proved so and I pulled back the sheets and there were stains. I took the towel downstairs and requested a new room. The staff was apologetic and I received a better and cleaner room. They even did a quick clean as we went to go get our things, but there is no standard of cleanliness here. It’s sort of luck of the draw which was disappointing. Even in the new room, there were wall stains/scuffs and stains on the lamp fixtures, which the staff addressed with me. Parking was $28/night, you are supposed to use your keycard to get in and out, but the gate was open majority of the time so it seemed pointless. There was an issue with the fire alarm on our last night, since we were up we decided to order food and we never received it. Ultimately, they comped and discounted several things for us since nothing was up to standard. The staff was apologetic and understanding. I know it wasn’t their fault personally so I appreciate them for going above and beyond.
