„The place was easy to find. Clean with good cooking utensils, pans and pantry staples. Nice to find a loverly table and chairs at the adjacent cliff top for magnificent sunset views! We left some citronella candles for others to use as the mozzies were predictability in force! If all the coconuts were trimmed off at least the TWO trees with the hammock, we might have enjoyed lying on it. „Stayed at Dundee Downs for a couple of nights on the weekend. Lovely location. Clean and tidy property with everything you need to cook and clean up after yourself. Big firepit with plenty of firewood available on the property. Outdoor shower was fantastic as it was a hot weekend and being able to cool down quickly was a treat. 15 minute drive to Dundee lodge for a swim and only a couple of minutes to the boat ramp. Kim was a lovely host and was very quick to get back to us with any ...

„The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable, huge variety of cooking utensils. We had 5 adults and 2 children 1 & 4 years old, the kids loved the dvds and were quite excited that there were toys for them to play with. Just a little negative was that the Retreat was listed as 1.5km from dundee but its about 15km…. It didnt worry us in the slightest .. we loved the accomodation 😁(Miss 4 year old said it was the best holiday house she has been too 😊j. Will definitely be coming back 10/10“

„Tropical oasis sums it up really well. Gardens were lovely. House was really comfortable. Hosts have thought of everything to make it an ideal place to stay. Close to shopping centre and 12 minute drive to Darwin City. Suit all ages- the pool was great.“

„May 11 2024 There are no separate rooms or any privacy I should have taken more notice of the description of the property. Maybe put a curtin across where the single beds are so people can get ready in the air conditioning for special occasion. Because there is no air conditioning in the shower which is outside down the stairs as is the toilet. The view was lovely, the water to the spa was smelly needed more tablets or something. „Our group had such a wonderful time at Golden Sands! The place has so much space for all of us and our needs. The beautiful kitchen, big dining areas and multiple areas to congregate meant we never felt like we were on top of each other. We also appreciated the sleeping arrangements however the room that slept 6 was a little tricky for our singles and couples to share. Luckily with the fold out beds in the loungeroom, the extra space was appreciated. I would definitely book again for a big ...

„Fantastic unit for a short or long term stay in Darwin. Close to the airport and the waterfront, secure parking on premises, well-equipped kitchens (inside and outside), with an incredible private pool. Great for families. We would stay here again!“
