Very nice stay
The staff was really, really friendly and did their best to help us with everything. They even made a telephone reservation for us in a japanese cafe. The room when we arrived was very clean but notice if you want to have daily room cleaning service you gotta pay extra. The bathroom is pretty small but I guess that is just japanese standard. The location around was also very convenient. Lots of Restaurants and Conbinis and just a short walk to Sunshine City and Sunshine 60 Dori a street with a lot of cool cafes, shops and stuff. JR Ikebukuro Station is also close. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

Gute Lage aber sehr kleine Zimmer
Das Hotel liegt in einer recht guten Lage bei Ikebukuro. Es liegt zwischen zwei Bahnstationen, die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Das Hotel selbst ist allerdings vom Komfort her nicht allzu toll. Es gibt keinen Zimmerservice, den Müll muss man selber trennen und die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Für zwei Leute eindeutig zu klein, es gibt lediglich ein 1,20m breites Bett, das noch dazu eine sehr unkomfortable Matratze hat. Das Bad hat eine ca. 30 cm hohe Schwelle und die "Badewanne" ist mehr eine Duschwanne, so klein ist sie.

Einfaches, zweckmässiges Hotel, punktet mit Servic
Das Hotel liegt in einer relativ ruhigen Gegend und ist dennoch nur wenige Minuten von der UBahnstation 'Higashi-Ikebukuro' (Yurakucho-Linie) entfernt. Bis zum großen Bahnhof Ikebukuro ist es ein etwa 15minütiger Spaziergang. Die Zimmer sind wie in Japan üblich zweckmäßig und sehr klein - dennoch hat man alles was man braucht (TV, Mikrowelle, Geschirr, Miniküche, usw) Wo die größe der Zimmer ein kleiner Wehrmutstropfen ist, punktet das Hotel in Service und Sauberkeit. Absolut top!

Hotel in Viertel Ikebukuro
Städtereise nach Tokio. Klassisches Hotel in ruhiger Lage und trotzdem relativ kurzer Weg zur nächsten U-Bahn Station Otsuka (Weg ca. 5 Min.). Hotel bietet trotz kleiner Zimmer alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man für eine Städereise benötigt (Bad/ WC/ Dusche im Zimmer, kleine Kochnische, relativ großzügige Betten). Trotz zentraler Lage nachts ruhig. Das Hotelpersonal spricht gutes Englisch.

Tolles, preiswertes Hotel mit nettem Personal.
Wir waren für eine Woche in Tokyo und das MyStays in Ikebukuro hat voll auf unsere Ansprüche gepasst. Das Personal war mehr als freundlich und immer für Fragen da. Zimmerservice ist optional. Mit Handtüchern, Zahnbürsten etc. wird man ausgestattet und kann immer nach mehr fragen. Auf dem Zimmer gibt es Föhn, Staubsauger. Wasserkocher und eine kleine Kochnische. Die Zimmer sind für europäische Verhältnisse eher klein aber ausreichend. Die Lage ist sehr gut um in Tokyo von A nach B zu kommen. In 2 Minuten ist man an einer Straßenbahn, in 10 an der Sation Otsuka, von der man per Yamanote Line jedes Ziel in Tokyo erreicht. Die Straße in der das Hotel liegt ist sehr ruhig. Man brauch etwa 10 Minuten um in die belebteren Bereiche Ikebukuros zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Hotel für Urlauber, die das Hotel im generellen nur zum schlafen brauchen. Alles was man braucht ist da und das Personal top.

Praktisches Hotel mit recht großen Zimmern.
Das Hotel beinhaltet keine Zimmerreinigung. Neue Handtücher kann man sich jederzeit holen. Die Zimmer sind für japanische Verhältnisse geräumig. Spüle, Kochplatte, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher vorhanden. Reichlich Schrankplatz, Koffer passen unters Bett. Airport Limousine Bus fährt vom nahe gelegenen Sunshine Prince Hotel ab. Strassenbahnhaltestelle in der Nähe. Haltestelle der Yamanote auch nicht sehr viel weiter. Reichlich Conbini in der Nähe, sowie Sunshine City Einkaufscenter mit Restaurants und Geschäften. Gut englisch sprechendes Personal an der Rezeption. Kostenloses W-LAN.

Hotell liegt nahe der otsuka und in Laufweite zur ikebukuro Station und nahe zur Sunshine City die Zimmer sind sauber etwas älter aber absolut ok für den Preis wer in günstigem Hotell mit guter Lage übernachten will und dabei keine Hilton Ausstattung erwartet ist dort gut aufgehoben kleiner Wermutstropfen ist dass es keinen Zimmerservice gibt wie in allen mystay Hotells damit muss man leben können dann ists super

The hotel unit is quite small as are other hotels in Tokyo. The kitchenette is useful only to do minimum cooking or warm up ready-made food. The staff is friendly and helpful with their limited English. The bed and AC are in good order. There are good and reasonably priced restaurants around. Convenient stores are at every street corner and are well stocked. Overall, the unit is good for a short stay.

It is a 8 minutes walk from the JR Otsuka station to the hotel, but a 20 minutes walk from the Ikebukuro station. The room I stayed has built-in mini kitchen, so faint smell of food can be detected walking in the room, which is okay to me. Cleaning service will only be provided for a fee. But they can provide new towel for free if needed. Generally, it is a nice budget hotel.

Room was dirty. We tried to use the microwave but it was unplugged. We called the front desk for help to move the tv stand because it’s blocking the outlet, they don’t understand/speak English very well so it took longer to communicate what we need. When the tv stand was moved the back side of it was filled with dust bunnies. Most of the appliances are also old. Room is not as pleasant as it shows in the picture. We booked for two nights but didn’t want to stay for the second night because of what we saw so we requested for our 2nd night reservation to be cancelled the same night we check in but the hotel refused to give us the refund.

Cleanliness was my only concern. Walls had questionable stains all over, including the mattress. Staff were great and there's an in-building laundry which is great for longer stays. Conbini is across the street and Sunshine City mall just a short walk away. Access to 2 stations, the JR line is about a 7 min walk away and the Marunouchi line is about 10 mins away.

I booked a non smoking room but when I entered the room smelt very strongly like cigarettes. The smell seeps in through the vents into all rooms it appears. When I asked hotel staff to amend this they said there were no other non smoking rooms available. A couple days later they provided a deodorising spray which did not get rid of the smell. Will not stay again.

2泊しました。 駅から少しありますが、部屋は清潔ですし良いと思います。また泊まりたいと思います。 ただ、10時半頃チェックアウトしましたが清掃の方々とすれ違ったり、エレベーターで一緒になったりしましたが、挨拶がない方がほとんどでしたね。そこが残念です。

Dans ensemble ça va, la réception est disponible 24/24, ma proximité avec la première station JR ou métro sont a 9minutes a pied de hôtel. Le quartier est correcte, bien qu'il n'y est pas grand chose a faire autour de hôtel. Pour ce qui est de la chambre je tien juste a dire que : la poubelle, ce serra a vous de gérer les déchets, la literie du lit c'est en supplément et les serviettes de bain sont a venir chercher a la réception. Dans ensemble ça va, mais c'est pas un hôtel dit : normal.

Very calm & quiet area, steps away from numerous dining options (including 7/11 right across the street) and a very short walk to the train station. Room was clean, very small but had everything we needed. Staff were helpful at check in & out, would recommend this budget friendly & convenient accommodation

My hotel room was very clean. Easy access to transportation. Restaurants are close by. 2nd floor has laundry room. Only thing is you have to pay for cleaning services but what does it matter if price for stay is very reasonable.
