„Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Es ist zwar alt aber sauber und ziemlich instand gehalten. Die Umgeist sehr ruhig. In der Nachsaison haben wir kaum Menschen gesehen. Das mag aber auch an den heißen Temperaturen gelegen haben. Diese haben uns dann aber verleitet Baden zu gehen..Schwimmen unter freiem Himmel im Oktober ist schon genial. Wir haben es sehr genossen.“

„Just love this spot. The water was right outside the screened porch. Got to fish whenever we wanted. The marina is about 12 minutes away: bair and apparently a great restaurant. Didn't get to try the restaurant. The people around were so friendly. The dolphins put on a show on two different days. The house had everything you could just about need. The screened in porch was everything! We got to hang out at night with no bug issues. Many mentioned mosquitos in the visitor book, but luckily for us ...

„Great property! Check-in was super simple, host was amazing and very responsive. This inside of this house was open and perfectly spacious, kitchen was well stocked, large dining table with a great view of the bay. Outdoor areas were amazing, the deck, the private pier, and sunsets at Copano Bay…WOW! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Rockport. “

„The house is very clean, including bathroom, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well provisioned for cooking. There were a couple of hiccups in administrative details. But the management was extremely fast, responsive, and courteous in resolving the issue quickly. The location is near some of the best birding in Texas. We would strongly recommend this little house.“

„The Salty Dog is over the top nice. We enjoyed every part of our visit. We fished every day, cooked, went to town for fun and dinner. The only downside was not being able to use the neighborhood boat launch. Having to go across the bay to a public ramp is nuts. “

„This was a nice quiet area next to the water and was a very nice area to spend the weekend. My wife and I spent our 35th anniversary here and it was very nice and relaxing. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to relax for the weekend. Lots of birds flying around. Loved seeing the wildlife and the water. The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies. “

„Excellent property. Well equipped kitchen. All very clean. Nice for older folks as getting into the house had only one small step and all was on one level. There are steps to the long walkway in the back. Each bedroom had its own bath. Just a short walk to the pier for fishing. overall great place.“

„The place was clean and had that fish camp feel.The place was as described.Becky was easy to communicate with and kept in touch.We fished out back and caught lots of hard heads of course. We also caught some rat reds and sheephead, all undersized. Had one very hard hit on live croaker that broke the line. I would absolutely stay here again.“
