Nettes B&B
Das B&B ist hübsch eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück ist gut. Ein Parkplatz ist auch (gratis) vorhanden. Das B&B hat logischerweise weder Restaurant noch Bar. Zum essen muss man ins Hotel-Restaurant 100 m weiter oder man fährt nach Thurso, was bei Dunkelheit eher unangenehm ist angesichts der sehr schmalen Straßen.

Beautiful and classic building, nice lounge area and beautiful breakfast room. Nice staff. Our room was number 8 on the very top floor. The amenities were lacking and towels, sheets and mattresses were old and stained, but clean. No biscuits for the tea, just 3 small peices of inexpensive chocolate. The local dining choices weren't great unless you wanted to drive into the next town 10 minutes away. After a long day of traveling in the rain, we choose to eat trailmix in the room. We left early for the ferry and had the continental breakfast. It was very nice. Lovely breakfast room.

A Fantastic Place to Stay!
The Greenland House was quite the find for us. The rooms are spacious and clean. The large historic home it is in is wonderful. The location in Castletown - close to Thurso - is fantastic. So much more peaceful than staying in Thurso. However, the real gem of this place is the proprietor, Victoria. She is kind and wonderful. Gave us great recommemdations of what to see and do and where to eat - all of which were spot on! She was also very accomodating of health comditions my wife and I have. If we are up near Thurso in the future we will definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay at Greenland. The host was very accommodating, loved the Inn. Obviously it's an old building, the shower drain wasn't draining properly. Apart from that, lovely B&B, great breakfast, cozy dining room and living room and plenty of parking spaces.

A very comfortable stay at Greenland House B&B
We booked a double room with en-suite bathroom. There was free Wifi, free parking on site and complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast included cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice etc with a freshly cooked to order full Scottish Breakfast that was very tasty. Overall a very comfortable one night stay at Greenland House B&B.

Isolated location, pleasant house and room
The location is a bit isolated, so be sure you have a car to get around in. We did not, and the bus service and taxi services were all very limited. Otherwise, the house is nice, comfortable, and the staff is helpful.

Nydelige rom
Nydelig B&B i Castletown midt mellom Thurso og Castle of Mey. Helt nyoppusset og lekkert! Rom med god størrelse. Veldig god frokost. Hotellet ligger fint til som utgangspunkt for dagsturer til orkenøyene. Vi hadde bad på rommene. Ikke alle rom har det. Fin stue man kan sitte om ønskelig. Hyggelig vertskap.

Lovely place to stay, would strongly recommend.
Very welcoming, with a dram of Scottish whiskey, very comfortable room. Friendly reception and all needs met. Lovely Scottish salmon breakfast.
