You cannot get any closer if you do not want to stay overnight in the park. We, a family of four from Germany, spent (unfortunately) only two nights at this excellent 2-bedroom cottage. „Absolutely beautiful, this house was the perfect location for our mini vacation to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. „John's Place couldn't have been better for our last-minute trip to Sequoia Nat'l Park. We stayed two nights. Robin was a great host. We enjoyed the privacy and serene neighborhood --- which is located very close to the park entrance. We came here with our two teenagers and our experience was outstanding. We had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the AC after long hot hikes. We hope we can return to see the Sequoias and stay here again. “
