„I admittedly arrived at a busy time and The Bear was reportedly chronically short of staff. Whilst the room and its cleanliness was excellent, the human side was somewhat chaotic. I queued twice for approx. 15 mins in total only to be told, in regard to ordering food, that the chef was very busy and not feeling well. I could not order any food and whilst sickness is unavoidable no decision was made to stop food orders for the evening. That lack of a decision was the problem and frustrating. I ...

„Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy. The room was really clean and the decor was quirky and bright. It's a lively night spot (for a little town) so it wasn't the quietest place to sleep, but good value for money.“

„Cannot say as i did not stay due to the manager trowing me out for letting my partner use the toilet the got me charged with drink driving for trying to sleep in my car as did not have anywhere else to go“

„I was given a double room instead of a suite, they couldn’t give me the correct room due to it being full and couldn’t refund me due to not having access to the correct system. The coffee machine didn’t work and they only gave a small amount of milk which only lasted one day.“

„Very nice flat plenty of space and nice and clean.A few items could be improved, no soap in the property, instructions for the washing machine would be helpful .Guests staying a week or more it would be nice to have a welcome pack or at least some tea and milk etc . Biggest problem no Wi Fi , property uses a neighbours internet to run the smart Tv which only had one bar or didn’t work at all for the 1st 3 days but tv guys sorted it to freeview.As the phone signal is not good in the area I really ...

„Very good communication. In general the apartment building is clean and nice, though inside the apartment smelled strong curry ( Penthouse ), even a cheap air freshener will make a difference. Pillow cases and Bed blankets do not smell fresh. No shampoo and shower gel. Netflix is a plus. We still enjoyed our stay.“

„We were allocated a large room on the 3rd floor. There is no lift. We requested a lower floor the room was mor like a bedsit .clean and quiet. .The front of the building is covered in scaffding. If we were in the rooms with hottubs etc different experience.Staff minimal buit helpful.restuarant has always been good.“

„We liked the space that the apartment had and the location of the property. The apartment was very quiet and had all the amenities we needed including the kitchen area. We also liked the garden at the back of the property. We will book again when we come back to Ulverston.“
