Alexis Cottage, 3 bed Cotswold stone retreat in the heart of Tetbury. Nestled in a prime town center location just 2 minutes from the antique shops, restaurants and boutiques, this characterful cottage blends historic charm with modern luxury. Meticulously refurbished, the cottage boasts two reception rooms, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious kitchen and dining room is a culinary haven, while the luxurious bathroom and en-suite offer a touch of spa-like indulgence.

The Space:
The ground floor boasts two reception rooms and a notably large kitchen and dining room. The dining room seamlessly connects to the well-fitted kitchen with flagstone flooring and skylights. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, bespoke cream units, oak work surfaces and a belfast sink. The living room offers a cozy vibe with a wood-burning stove, TV and comfortable sofas and a set of steps lead down to the converted cellar turned into a vibrant games room with marble-tiled flooring.

Upstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms, spread over 2 floors, the first floor has the master room featuring double size bed and ensuite for added convenience. Bedroom 2 with a King size bed, oak beams and opposite the stylish bathroom, tiled with marble. The first floor opens up to a roof terrace garden, providing a delightful outdoor space with a pleasant view of the church spire.
On the top floor, a twin room awaits, furnished with two single beds, offering a cozy retreat.

Guest Access:
Our guests have private use of the cottage , free roadside parking and a roof terrace.

Tetbury is in the South Cotswolds it's just a short drive from major towns and cities like Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol, and Swindon, and also has easy access to Kemble Railway Station for Intercity services to London. It is perfect for exploring the stunning English countryside and beautiful towns and villages of the Cotswolds.

We also 10 Minutes from WOMAD Festival so perfect for a base

Getting Around:
Alexis Cottage is in a great central location and is less than 5 minutes walking distance of all the town’s fantastic amenities.

A short drive, just 90 minutes from London, it's the perfect country retreat. Direct trains run frequently from Paddington to Kemble (just 11 miles from the Castle)
I would recommend using a car to get around but there is public transport, with buses running to Cirencester and surrounding Cotswold villages. The Cotswolds is a rural location so we highly recommend using a car to explore and get around the area if you are here for a few days.

We have several policies in place to ensure that all our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

On street parking available or a public car park is 2 minutes from the house

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm and check-out time is at 10:00 am unless otherwise stated. Early arrival and late check-out are not guaranteed and are subject to availability but we will always try our best to accommodate this.

Please note that guests must be 25 years or older to check-in, and we reserve the right to request photo identification.
