The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. „Für ältere Menschen nicht geeignet, da dieses traditionsreiche Haus viele steile Treppen hat und man mit den ungewohnten japanischen Sandalen leicht zu Sturz kommen könnte. Für junge Paare sicher romantisch, man kann privat-Onsen buchen, das Wasser war nicht klar - er war allerdings im Freien. Das Essen (Kayseki Dinner und japanisches Frühstück) waren so-so. “

„The best hotel we had during our three week stay in Japan. Absolutely mesmerizing views of Lake Ashinoko ( Mount Fuji on clear days) and a private Onsen (with real Onsen Water) in every apartment.
