Your Costa Rican story begins in a colonial courtyard where water cascades into a private plunge pool. This is Las Catalinas: a village that feels like coastal Europe dropped into the tropics, complete with restaurants, coffee shops, and beach clubs.
THE MAIN HOUSE
Pocket doors fold away to reveal an open living space designed for groups who actually want to spend time together. The kitchen isn't just for show: granite breakfast bar for six, modern appliances, everything you need to recreate that ceviche from lunch. Smart TV loads your streaming accounts for movie nights. Dining table sits everyone comfortably.
Three upstairs bedrooms, three en-suite bathrooms. The master gets the king bed. Second bedroom has a queen. Third bedroom fits families: full-size bunk beds with a pull-out trundle beneath.
THE PRIVATE APARTMENTS
Two studio apartments downstairs with separate entrances and kitchenett. One has a king bed, the other a queen: both with en-suite bathrooms and their own laundry. Perfect for couples wanting privacy or teens wanting independence.

Other Things to Note:
The access road is under construction right now. Plan extra travel time getting here. Once you arrive, though, everything you need is within the village, you won't need to leave.
Guests with young kids should know: two apartments require walking through the open courtyard to reach them. Works great for older kids and adults, less ideal for toddlers you're tracking at night.
