The Space:
This newly remodeled unit is located on the second level of the condominium complex and features a clean, modern design with brand-new furniture and a balcony that offers stunning views of the community swimming pool and the Pacific Ocean.

This stylish unit features a well-lit open-concept floor plan, with a living room, kitchen, and dining space. The living room features an elegant nautical design, with an ocean-blue couch, bright white furniture, and beach-themed decor. It also has a flat-screen TV and a small game table with two chairs behind the sofa. The living room sits beside a sliding glass door that opens to the unit’s ocean-view balcony.

The kitchen is bright and inviting, with white cabinets, an elegant backsplash, stone countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, an electric oven and stovetop, a dishwasher, and a microwave. The kitchen is furnished with potted plants to add a pop of color to the neutral design and sits next to a glass dining table with six cushioned seats.

The three bedrooms have plush queen-sized beds, though one room also has a single bunk bed above the queen that can be accessed with a ladder. Each of the bedrooms shares the same clean, minimalist design as the rest of the condo, with grey and white comforters and beach-themed paintings and decor. The master bedroom has a flat-screen TV and a sliding glass door leading to the main balcony overlooking the ocean. The second and third bedrooms have sliding glass doors that lead to small covered balconies that overlook the lush foliage in Potrero. All the bedrooms have ample storage space.

The master bedroom offers a modern ensuite bathroom with a stone walk-in shower, a rainfall showerhead, and a basin sink. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a similar design.

The private balcony carries the same clean, minimalist design as the inside of the unit, with a white dining table and chairs, rocking chairs, and lounge chairs. The entire terrace is shaded and surrounded by lush tropical foliage, and provides unobstructed views of the community’s sparkling pool and Playa Potrero. The balcony also has a BBQ grill, sparkling bistro lights, and ceiling fans, making it perfect for alfresco dining while overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

This quaint beachfront condominium features a sparkling swimming pool for guests surrounded by a pool deck with six lounge chairs. The grassy space around the pool is fenced in, and if you walk just a few steps from the pool, you can dig your toes into the soft sand of Playa Potrero.

Pet-friendly policy

We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:
Surfside is a charming community on Playa Potrero where many expats live permanently (in particular Canadians and Italians), and where visitors can choose from a wide range of elegant vacation rentals, appetizing restaurants and lively bars.
Located between the towns of Potrero and Flamingo, Surfside is an eminently walkable village where the beach is never more than a few blocks away. Several tour offices offer a variety of adventures by land and sea, and real estate offices will be happy to show you your next home in paradise.
Attractions you won’t want to miss include the beachfront Sailing Center (restaurant, bar, pool and sailing packages); the popular Perlas restaurant (a high-end roadhouse/sports bar with big-screen TVs, live music, and great wings, burgers and pizzas); the Cervecería Independiente craft brewery between the two; and other local eateries including the Shack and the Beach House.
The lines are somewhat blurred between Potrero and Surfside — Potrero (“pasture”) was the original Costa Rican name of both, but Surfside became the popular name when a lot of foreigners began developing its southern outskirts. Most people would probably say that Potrero starts somewhere north of Perlas, and it’s Surfside to the south. In either place, you can’t go wrong.

Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.

We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.

We just returned home and we already miss it there. The condo is amazing. We have couple of hiccups, however, the response to fix the hiccups was quick and the issues were resolved. The location is perfect. We love this area. The beach is not crowded. There's no one asking you if you want to buy anything. You can walk to the local places to eat. There is a fruit stand, pharmacy and coffee shop across the street. In town there is a grocery store and they opened a new one up the road a bit. You can walk to one of them from the condo. The condo came with towels for everyone. (beach and bath)There is a coffee pot and all the things that you will need to cook. The washer and dryer are located inside of the unit. When you arrive there's coffee, dish soap and hair dryers in both bathrooms.The showers are amazing. There's a grill to cook outside. The pool is really nice and clean. We rented a golf cart from Special Places of CR. This is who manages the condo. I always feel safe in this area. It's our 4th trip to CR. I would highly recommend this place. Pablo and Daniela made things go very smooth. We can't wait to get back!

As I stated perfectly located and a bright well furnished condo! Fabulous sun sets and view of the ocean. We rented a golf cart to go to other beaches and restaurants not within walking distance. It was perfect. The condo is located on a beautiful, clean beach, close to restaurants and bars, grocery store and a pharmacy. Our only negatives were unfortunately there was no beach supplies…no beach chairs, no cooler and the outdoor patio furniture was uncomfortable.
