„Very friendly staff, nice and clean room, big and very clean bathroom“

„Breakfast was two doors away and was chaos, and we were relieved not to have been booked in for more breakfasts. The room was ok but the ambiance was dismal.“

„Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. Sadly Expedia does not include information about the live music at the Malthouse, so we were unprepared for the volume in our room immediately above the music which went on until about 12.30a.m. Not surprisingly, this rather spoiled our otherwise enjoyable stay.“

„Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location.“

„The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.“

„Really nice room close to the center. Parking right next door. Staff was very friendly and everything was spotless clean. Our room wasn’t big enough for our luggage, but I don’t know which room I booked and I didn’t mind. Great welcoming place.“

„Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues.“

„Good clean property, staff very friendly. Very accommodating for pet.“

„Perfect overnight and welcoming stay and fabulous breakfast“

„We only ended up staying for one night of the two we booked. This was due to work commitments not the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Before we left we had a meal in the restaurant. The food was some of the best we’ve had in a while. We would definitely stay there again.“

„I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. The room and en-suite were possibly the smallest we've ever ...

„Fabulous new B & B recently opened. Olivia & Matt are lovely hosts and very welcoming. Breakfast is delicious and top quality fruit juices served in individual bottles unlike cheap juices served in many places. Our room was large and comfortable with a generous hospitality tray and large kettle. Soft fluffy towels. Ideal location for touring. Well definitely return.“

„I have stayed here a number of times. Always excellent. Clean comfortable and well priced. Convenient for the town centre and useful parking outside.“

„It was homely. The couple were hospitable & took care of their guests & provided a nice breakfast included in price. Had a well cared for appearance.“

„The staff were very helpful & we had an excellent cooked breakfast.“

„Lovely gardens and good quality breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients.“

„Good location with small parking area. Very welcoming staff, offering helpful advice on local area. The room itself was of very high standard and lacked nothing that I needed for my stay. Highly recommend the superb cooked breakfast for a small extra cost.“
