Private Georgian Bay Waterfront Cottage: Dock, Sand Beach, Hot Tub, Dogs OK

Spend your days on the water and your evenings by the fire. Swim from the dock or the beach, paddle the harbour on the kayak or paddleboard, and fish for bass, perch, sunfish and pike right off the dock. Rent our fishing boat to chase walleye out in the bay. Back at the house, the hot tub sits below the deck with a view of the water, and the stone fire pit has eight Muskoka chairs around it.

Inside, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace anchors the living room, with a full leather reclining set and a 75-inch smart TV. There's a full kitchen with a dishwasher and coffee maker, a sunroom dining table for six, three bedrooms (king, queen, and queen plus double) and three bathrooms, including a jacuzzi tub. High-speed Wi-Fi throughout.

Open all year: summer swimming and boating, fall colours and waterfowl, and in winter skiing at Mount St. Louis Moonstone (10 minutes), snowmobile trails nearby and ice fishing on the bay. The hot tub and fireplace make winter weekends special.

For kids: a trampoline, a small zip line, floating toys and the sandy beach.
Dogs welcome (up to 2, $100 per dog per stay).
