Room and internet fine, the gardens are fantastic but the pool and gym are not terribly inviting. I chose not to eat dinner and was woken by a call at 11p.m. to tell me the kitchen was closing.
Breakfast was very mediocre and as the only guest - I was not impressed to be directed by the staff towards luke warm water to make my own tea.“

We also stayed the first night in Mysore in the JP Palace and even though it charges a similar rate, the Grand Mercure was significantly more value for money (nicer, newer, just more comfortable)
