This is my second stay at Econo Tamworth and have stayed 2 nights on both occasions. Rooms are serviced daily. Bed is comfortable and the rooms have a Smart TV and neat kitchen area with plenty of storage room. I booked a Queen Poolside Room. I found it quiet from traffic. The breakfast bar is sensational with 7 choices of cereals inc gluten free, 3 choices of toast inc raisin, pancakes, fresh fruit, packaged fruit cups, yoghurt and juices and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is my choice of stay in Tamworth.

Staff professional, friendly and was knowledgeable about the area, especially whilst the Tamworth Music Festival week. Extremely helpful from reception to the dining room staff. Accommodation was clean, a/c great, beds very comfortable. Overall a great experience of having a reservation at the Econo Lodge Gateway.

Stayed for the Tamworth Country Music festival. It's out of town but ubers and taxis aren't expensive. There's a bus to catch from outside, but it was too hot

The property is currently under renovation. That did not impact my stay at all. The room was small but was well appointed, nice big TV, fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea making provided, bathroom was renovated and had a great shower head. Bed was queen size and super comfortable so I had an excellent nights sleep. I had my dinner (good food) in my room which the staff delivered. All in all very happy with my stay and definitely not expensive.

It was annoying trying to initially find the property because it has been named the same as another lodge just down the road a bit, so that was where I went first, and then had to come back. The shower was a little in need of updating, as the water pressure was not great. All other facilities were lovely and clean and lovely friendly staff. Thank you

The property needs updating. I found the bed very hard which aggravated my back. There is no breakfast available at the property. The property is close to the club and pub which has great food.

Dear Joanne, We thank you for your review as we are constantly working to improve our facilities. We are sorry to hear the bed was not comfortable for you, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate beds that specifically appeal to each guest. We have recently had a change-over in management which means we are also renovating and updating all areas that there may be lack. We hope this does not hinder your desire to book with us in future. Our restaurant currently has no staff, but as soon as we can we will have it up and running again.

It's peaceful no traffic noise very comfortable. The only trouble I had was with the hot water but it has been fixed 😊

Motel felt old and neglected, had paid less at other properties which presented much better. Felt like it was not just a motel but a boarding house. Empty beer cans and rubbish could be seen from some of the 1st floor rooms

We stayed at this hotel with a boys sports team for a carnival weekend. When we got back to room after several games there was no hot water in the showers - as in no water pressure from the hot water tap. It was only marginally better in the morning, luke warm showers with not much pressure. The room was otherwise adequate for what we needed
