This review basically said the staff were not friendly. I am not sure who the guests were as the review is anonymous. I wish I knew who the guests were so I could ask them what happened. 96% of our guests rate their experience with us as good or excellent. We take negative reviews very seriously as we never want a guest to leave feeling unhappy about their stay with us. I was a Psychologist before being a hotel owner. I have trained all of my staff on how to communicate with guests in a positive and friendly manner. I often observe them with guests and find them to welcome guests with a smile and even when guests are negative they are trained to remain friendly and respectful. Richard Proprietor

Schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen
Kleines Häusschen mit eigener Terrasse und Hängematte. Grosses Badezimmer, sehr sauber. Das Frühstück mit Pancakes ist toll. Die Eierspeisen werden frisch nach Wunsch zubereitet.

Nice quiet hotel with great location
My family and I had a beautiful time at the Arco Iris! The staff is very nice and helpful! They gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants, tours we could take and beaches to visit! The rooms were clean and comfortable, air conditioning and TV worked great, lovely pool. Breakfast was great!! Short walk to the beach and only steps to the center of Tamarindo. We would definitely visit again!

Gute Option in Tamarindo
Zimmer und Bad waren sehr schön und neu, alles war sehr sauber. Restaurant mit gutem Ruf in der Anlage verfügbar. Der Besitzer war sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten.

kleine, aber schöne Anlage
Die recht kleine aber sehr gepflegte Hotelanlage besteht aus mehreren Gebäuden im Bungalow-Stil. Die Zimmer sind neu, geräumig, modern und tip-top sauber. Von außen recht unscheinbar, die unmittelbare Umgebung ist nicht besonders schön und gepflegt. Das Hotel liegt zentral, ca. 5-10 min zum Strand, Supermarkt ebenfalls gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Zum Besuch anderer Strände in der Umgebung ist ein Auto sehr zu empfehlen. Für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und doch nicht weit vom zentrum tamarindos. grosse zimmer, pool liegt grad beim restaurant.

Beautiful property, amazing staff, specially Juan Carlos, Freddy and the ladies in the kitchen. The best breakfast we had in all CR. Too bad it is located in a town where millions of dollars are generated from the super expensive restaurants and hotels and not one penny put back into its infrastructure. Tamarindo should have the best roads, sidewalks and a sewer system. I don't think it is "charming" to walk on muddy roads, right next to trucks and noisy cars.

Everything about my stay was wonderful! From pre-arriving, to helping me book transportation to from the airport, to check-in, this stay really enhanced my trip. The breakfast is incredible! The coffee is amazing. Freddie our breakfast server was delightful. Justin at the front desk is super helpful and his positive energy is continuous. Thanks for the tips on the coffee and attention to detail through every interaction. I wish i was staying here longer but will definitely spread the word. I loved the pool! And rooms are super clean and met all my needs.

The staff was wonderful and they helped book some activities for us. The breakfast was wonderful each morning. Luis with the breakfast staff was super sweet and knowledgeable about things to see and do in Tamarindo as well as La Fortuna. Justin at the front desk was great too. I have To say the housekeeping staff impressed me most though. My sister accidentally left $500 on her bed and the housekeeper tucked it in her bed covers to keep it safe. Such a wonderful and honest establishment!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Felt like in a guesthouse. Location is 15 mins walk from the beach and all the restaurants and shops. The road is not done though- no side walks. But at the end it didn’t matter. The peacefulness of Tamarindo took over and after a week we didn’t want to leave. Great breakfast, although I felt the lack of green/vege salads option.

Well kept and beautiful looking property a short walk from Tamarindo city and beach. Super friendly staff and very well kept property. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious!! Pool is on the smaller side, but never had more than 2-3 people at it. Never had a problem getting parking. Room is very clean and well maintained, air con worked great and bathroom was very nice. Area around the hotel is mainly housing and small hotels, but super easy access to downtown Tamarindo through the back walking path. Not at all a beach hotel, but an easy 10 minute walk gets you anywhere you need to be - including the beach! Never had any issues with noise, day or night. Would definitely stay here again if back in Tamarindo!
